Ok im sorry, "spam dislike on every post along with seethe posting"

Better?

Same reason gif-posting sheboons on twitter are so smug about how #groundbreaking and #inspiring the latest black trannified capeshit or star trek or whatever the flavor of the month is in that circle of internet asspat mining,

Should russia manage to pull an unironic and unambigous defeat out of this shit then you can bet your bussy this shit will quietly be dropped and forgotten like it was Ghostbusters 2016
No, it will not be forgotten, least at certain very important levels. This war has been an intelligence bonanza for intelligence agencies and militaries all over. Won't be long before there will be seminars on the performance of the Russian military at military professional education schools in many countries. Am sure there have already been many, many intelligence reports, of all types, with God knows how much more to come. This war has provided many years of employment for many in the intelligence and military worlds.

An entire generation of intelligence agencies with weaponised autism studying abject retardation. KiwiFarms is officially ahead of its time.

I was referring to those most loudly shilling russia for internet prestige sakes who will almost certainly bury this shit as far down as your average hammer and sickle emoji'd troon of currentyear buried their #gamergate tweets and likes of Sargon of Akkad videos

Obviously in terms of gubmint and military academy levels to name a few this shit will be studied for atleast a century

I'm sure plenty of uniformed faggots will have plenty of PowerPoint presentations on their gay little laptops for plenty of years to come, but I wouldn't call that "important". It doesn't matter at all to 99.99999% of people unless there's a WW3, and still won't matter after about 6 hours of WW3. Stuff like the imminent global depression and its consequences are important. :punished:

Ukrainians assert themselves at the expense of the elderly.

A pitiful sight

Ukrainian soldiers asking the old man to say "glory to Putin, glory to Russia," he says he won't say anything.

After that, an old woman comes out with a Soviet flag and, with obvious senile dementia, says that she was waiting for them (Russian troops) and Putin. The soldiers mockingly say that they are really Russian troops and have come to liberate them. They give her food, to which she responds that they need it more, and then soldiers say "Glory to Ukraine," take the flag and start trampling it, after which realization kicks in and she gives the food back and says, "This is the flag for which my parents fought, and you trampled it."

I wonder what excuses the Hohol brigade will come up with for this one. Fortunately I suspect that most of these piggies will end up fried husks before the year is over.

i've seen talk about the donbabwe and luganda peoples republics being in deep shit, to the point where they're allegedly issuing draft orders to women up to age 55, but no real source that i could verify
anybody know details about the state of affairs in the separatist republics?

Not really - China has a huge population on paper, but in practice they still have a lower percentage of urban population to rural than western countries (This is not a factor of sheer size, but underdevelopment of a lot of the country), and population does not scale linearly to output of small arms or advanced equipment. Their sheer size is a double edged sword, requiring significantly more troops to defend the borders and interior, while also significantly increasing the logistical burden of said far off border troops.

While on paper, they could draft millions upon millions of troops, they would realistically be unable to effectively provide them with small arms, much less a sufficiently large supply chain to feed them, and even less so on the equipment that Ukraine has shown makes light infantry so effective like javelin systems. And then there's the fact that national scale has almost no bearing on their armor and air force production capabilities.

This is why China at the present is a paper tiger - any individual component of their potential may look good, but achieving all of it at the same time is impossible, and that impossibility means the actual effectiveness of their force is significantly less than it appears. Its important to keep an eye on them though, as changing economic, world, and even military doctrinal situations can turn the paper tiger into a real one.
Yeah. Like someone mentioned in the last thread, the practical aspects for China's military just aren't there. They don't really have the sea capacity to fight, their plane doctrine is lacking, and their ability to supply enough basic equipment for their troops is lacking. Given that their copypasta was from a couple years ago and they were posting it on day one of Russia's invasion, I'd wager that if China was unwilling to acknowledge their military's shortcomings, they'll have done so after seeing how badly things have worked out for Russia so far.

Especially as beyond that, I read an interesting write up on the general China/Taiwan situation yesterday. The short of it is that we're in the same standoff we've been for decades. As long as the US doesn't acknowledge Taiwan as an independent country and Taiwan doesn't declare independence, China's willing to keep a military solution in reserve and try to recover Taiwan by more diplomatic means. Taiwan's public is generally content with the status quo, not wanting either to rejoin China or to declare independence. The US has its warhawks, China has its warhawks, but the official rhetoric and the posturing that gets done is still pretty much the same. Meanwhile China's goal for modernizing its military remains 2035. So if China was thinking of moving sooner rather than later for Taiwan, or if Russia invading Ukraine made them think that maybe they could grab Taiwan while the US and Europe are distracted; they've probably since rethought and decided to continue upgrading their military for the time being.

So unless someone does something particularly stupid we probably aren't likely to see China go to war any time soon. I suppose the issues with their population or economy could pressure them into it, but they're more likely to keep waiting and trying to get their shit in order.

Why are russian bois so smug?

Cover for a massive inferiority complex born from a century of catastrophic fuck ups on the part of Russian/Russophile leadership that left them underdeveloped, impoverished, oppressed and which sometimes got millions of them killed or outright murdered.

They must pretend all that actually wasn't that bad or else they would have to admit that either the last 4-5 generations of Russian people have chosen retarded leadership that reflects badly on themselves, or only slightly better have allowed themselves to be slaves to emperors/dictators/strongmen who's actions they had no control over.

Aside from downplaying how bad the past was the only palatable alternative is to blame foreigners for how bad it was, a tradition that still lives on today just as strong as ever. Think of post WW1 Germany with all their grievances about versailles and how easy it was for the German people to buy into the stab in the back mythology and what that led to, then imaging how bad the humiliation would have been if instead of the German empire coming to an end not at the outcome of enormously destructive war but after decades of stagnation and decay until finally ending pathetically without (almost) a single shot fired.

Than you have to factor in all of the people of their vassal states telling them exactly what they think of Russia as soon as they felt safe enough to do so rather than letting their revamped empire under the guise of the USSR die gracefully and you have some idea of what lurks behind the eyes of a Russian nationalist. As said above by someone else there's no middle ground at all in Russian society, if your not completely apathetic you either want Russian society to be reformed at its very roots or you fully except and believe every delusion about Russian greatness.
