Greer got legal advice from his therapist (I am not making this up) and his therapist told him that he had a case:

I've been waiting for this, it cracks me up. Whenever he tries to reinforce his arguments others are brought into it confirming he's correct...

Which is it, happy or depressed?

Greer couldn't handle national attention, and while it would be hilarious, he shouldn't be given it and reward his awful behaviour in the courts.
His behaviour should be made known, imho. People tolerating him has led to where we are now. Look at the likes of yaniv, he was able to shit on everyone via the courts until his anonymity was taken away. Granted it hasn't stopped him totally filing vindictive cases, but folks (and possibly courts) are now more aware hence he is not getting away with the same tired shit as he once did.

I feel the more attention thrown at Greer the better as these predatory types/vexatious litigants want secrecy...probably why the likes of Greer and yaniv hate sites like KF...egomaniacs hate ridicule.

the first was not moving to dismiss
That's literally a good thing. If this gets dismissed, the appellate court gets jurisdiction over the case when Russ appeals as promised. They should ask for a stay pending results of arbitration so Russ can't easily appeal.
Am I wrong in reading a bit of snark into the judge’s repeated use of “next steps” in quotes?
Nope. It was snarky indeed.

You know, every time I read Russ' court docs, I can't help but wonder, in an alternate timeline, Russel didn't become a lolcow for suing TAYLOR SWIFT, but because he writes like dog shit that he keeps bouncing from one firm to another.

He's never sued anyone named Lindsey. Commenting for the sake of commenting isn't usually a great idea, especially when you aren't familiar with the topic at hand.

Admittedly I was half awake when I wrote that. Obviously I meant to say Taylor, not Lindsey. I'm familiar with Russell having forgoe his well paying job as a paralegal of a firm in order to "fake sue", as he himself wrote in Null's lawsuit, Taylor fucking Swift, in a bid to have a #Notadate with her. And as I've stated, I'd like to think he'd still find a way to be an utter fuck up of a person had he not gone through with it, as noted by the fact he barely got himself out of a felony charge as a high schooler when he thought it was a great fucking idea to write death threats on the wall of the boys bathroom, and confessing it to the police.

Don't always assume someone isn't familiar, some of us just are retarded and think it's a great idea to post after a night of drinks.

Guys, guys. I get that the therapist thing is funny, but all this talk about what kind of person would validate him is completely ignoring the obvious-he's lying. He's way too narcissistic to get therapy, and if he did he'd lie his head off to make sure he never got told anything he didn't go in wanting to hear. This is just that totally real email from kiwifarms all over again.
This is half true. He is lying but he is also getting therapy. Two reasons, (1) is that it’s part of his way of getting his plights publicly validated. He is in a suit with Null claiming he’s been harmed so ge has to prove that there is harm by saying it’s so bad he is in therapy. (2) reason is that his narcissism demands he get validation. Most narcissists do avoid treatment. They typically come in bc their spouse or the courts have required it. But Russell is so aberrant that he has literally no one else in his life who validates him. Studies show that narcissists get along with other narcissists and most narcissists (99%) value aesthetics. So the people who would agree with him find him physically repellant and those who would sympathize with his looks find his personality repellent.

So he’s likely in therapy but he is the type of client to fire their therapist for confronting them directly. Rusty reads into and misinterprets everything anyone says to him—-that will include his therapist.

My guess is that the therapist stated, “it sounds like this situation has really hurt you and you feel discriminated against and hurt. You were looking for your big break and a fair chance to impress the judges and you didn’t get it, and that hurts.” But he heard “you are right. You were wronged”

I mean he doesn’t even understand common aphorisms. He certainly misses the logistics of everything else.

Also, just as an fyi, betterhelp and other text counseling systems require licensed therapists and psychologists so it isn’t like anyone can just get hired without a license, but life coaches and the like are way cheaper than real therapy and that requires no license, so that route would get him a totally inexperienced person. But I highly doubt he would hire a life coach because those aren’t able to diagnose his severe ptsd…

Edit: typos irk me

This is why it's great that the opposition in the AGT suit did the legwork to document his pattern of previous vexatious filings: his future opponents are going to take that and build on it, and 🌈🌈🌈 eventually he'll find he has to jump through more and more hoops before being allowed to file as a penniless shitbagIFP 🌈🌈🌈

Beyond that, though, I don't know how much good exposure is going to do. Russ is a narcissist. He's a turbo-narcissist. Hell, he's 4'11" of narcissism in a pre-schooler's best attempt to draw the shape of a man. If he got any sort of a "public", it would include at least one individual who's willing to say he's in the right, if only for shits and giggles. Or to say something gently critical that gets misinterpreted by his dumbness and rewritten by his narcissism until in his head it becomes praise and validation (like his therapist probably did). And suddenly that's the only thing he'll hear. There could be a million people telling him "Dude, just... change. Change everything about yourself. Be literally anyone else. Now. Do it," and one saying "Eh, on this one little thing, tard kinda has a point," and he'd immediately latch onto the one: "See! See! This person agreed that I'm best! HATERSH!"

He absolutely needs more people to tell him to quit his bullshit. Still a man(let) hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest...

He sees the legal system as the grown up version of "telling". It doesn't matter what Freemantle wants teacher is still going to make them let Rusty play. And they have to let him win too or else he'll feel bad.
And when it doesn't work like telling the teacher, he gets baffled, no matter how many times his demands have been rejected by the court. His latest filings show he's seriously confused why the judge hasn't ordered Marathon to put him on the show and why Marathon isn't at all concerned that the judge will order them to let him flail about on stage like he was being tasered in the balls.

On the therapy thing: Russ has shown time and time again he hears and sees what he wants to. The whole damn world tells him he's wrong in his interpretation of events, but since he's apparently a narcissist, he can't be wrong, it's everyone else that's stupid. To borrow an old saying, he uses therapy like a drunk uses a lamp post: For support rather than illumination. He's not seeking to change, he doesn't think he needs to. He wants validation like was said previously. The courts are his main way of trying to get it. He thinks each time, this will be the time the judge understands his arguments and confirms he's right and makes the other side be nice to him.

Therapists are not qualified to make any diagnosis and he's claiming his did and said he doesn't have whatever things he hates hearing people say he does have.

"She's really nice (and cute if I'm being honest)" Run Therapy Chick! Run!!

Yeah we can already see Russ's mental narrative forming. She will cure him of his mild and socially acceptable depression. Caused by Taylor rejecting his completely reasonable efforts to reach out to her. Thus his sweet therapist will fall madly in love with him and suck him his peepee. Our boy is nothing if not predictable.

Geez, I leave for two weeks and the internet self-detonates. Regardless, I'm sure I'll have quite the evening ahead of me catching up with ol' Rusty.
I feel you. Some numpty of a dump-truck driver put up his carriage in the 100Mph winds that have been blowing here the last couple days and of course his truck blew over into the powerlines, taking down power for a full day and Internet for 2 more days, and THAT'S When Russhole's cases finally turned hot again and now it's way after I can make my usual witty and poignant observations. (:_(

At least I have a slow afternoon's enjoyable reading ahead of me. I hope there are trauma lumps galore. AUGH YEAH

God he has no sense of propriety. Contacting a judge on a talent show is probably (and should be) against the rules and grounds for permanent disqualification. He tried to get Taylor Swift's managers to renegotiate her contracts so she could accept his song, not realizing that A)she has to approve any new contract and B) even if she wasn't contractually forbidden from accepting unsolicited works, she could still be sued for copyright infringement if she released a similar song. He tried to negotiate on Hof's behalf with the county comissioners when one county was considering banning brothels. He had no authority to do so, and anyway, it was a ballot measure put up for a vote by petition. They couldn't do anything about it if they wanted to. He wrote the judge hearing his harassment case a letter saying he was innocent, so therefore he was innocent. You don't communicate directly with a judge in a criminal case. You go through your lawyer.

I don't think Russ understands why unsolicited policies exist in the first place. He seems to think they're in place solely to prevent people without connections in the entertainment industry from breaking into the "biz." I don't think he understands the massive legal issues that any creative person would open themselves to if they accepted unsolicited works. Or if he does, he thinks exceptions still should be made for him. Now if he was a little more savvy about the law, he might suggest he'd sign a release so he couldn't sue someone who accepted his song(s). You know he'd sue at the drop of a hat if he even thought someone used even a tiny part of his song. Since he's copyrighted his songs in the past, it would be reasonable to assume he'd sue to enforce copyright, especially given his litigious past.
