He is the angel and devil of Disney. He was one hell of a business man and had a genuine passion to raise Disney from the ashes of the 70s-80s. Most of Disney’s best works can be tied to him in some way as he pushed the Disney Renaissance. The dude was ferocious as fuck, building shit like animal kingdom as a massive fuck you to potential competition. The man was all ambition, good or bad, and without him Disney wouldn’t be half the company it was during its 2010 monopoly phase.idk, after watching a bunch of Defunctland videos, it seems like shit got worse whenever Eisner was involved.
Yeah, I won't deny that. Eisner, for all of his shenanigans, actually cared about Disney as an entity, about continuing on from ol' Walt. After him, what have the others done? Nothing but corporatize the company further, dragging it into the usual pursuits of efficiency, inanity, and anti-human mechanical worship that so many others do.He is the angel and devil of Disney. You can give him shit for his fuck ups, but he was definitely a man who took the company to the top and got them to experiment like never before. No Disney president has come close to him since his departure, so I think it is fair to say the companies slow death began with the feuds that lead to his resignation.
No, the fuckups were pretty bad and nearly killed the company. What did buying Fox Family and turning it into ABC Family do for them? Nothing. He is the angel and devil of Disney. I have no grandkids-Walt Disney in the void of infinity beyond the mortal veil someplace...maybe. Roy P. doesnt diserve the name "Mr. Disney."the grand-nephew of Disneyland founder Walt Disney
soooooo...the jews?No more of leftist and Communism stuff.
Kinda wish we had an agree to disagree or some rating like that, You're not wrong consooomer culture is out of control and full of people wearing merch like that without knowing a damn thing about it aside what they can watch before moving from one mcu movie to the next. and we should get back to a culture that isn't rooted SOLEY in cartoon characters, but the ips themselves arent the problem. It's the people who've been put in charge of them not knowing or caring about them enough to make smarter or better products with them. It's more likely Disney will go broke so fast they'll start auctioning off their properties. But honestly I'm so sick of all these companies that I don't even want their IP anymore. Star Wars? It's dead. Marvel? Get lost. I want to see new IPs made by creators who have new ideas. Everyone's got a t-shirt with their favorite Marvel character on it. The West has a culture that isn't rooted in fucking cartoon characters. We need to get back to it.
Than yes the jewsI have no grandkids-Walt Disney in the void of infinity beyond the mortal veil someplace...maybe. Roy P. doesnt diserve the name "Mr. Disney."
I don't know maybe it's my good side that wants to beand genuinely optimistic that the public opinion backlash against wokeism will eventually cause the leftist bubble in the culture wars finally burst, and Disney will finally realize they can't keep giving people executive positions just because they cry and scream like babies "muh womexns! We Wuz kangs!" and every other battle cry they use to gain power.
Then then more realist side of me thinks..."we'll be facing down Russian missiles on june 15th before that happens."
soooooo...the jews?
A neutral gray checkmark that says "I agree, however..."? Something like that? Ask for it in the forum for talking about the forum.Kinda wish we had an agree to disagree or some rating like that
I agree to an extent but we're talking about IPs that have been around for 80+ years in some cases. Mickey Mouse is 94 years old. Batman is 83. Do creative people really need to keep going to the same well? Should we really be encouraging this? It's like if people had turned Sherlock Holmes into an industry for 100 years and detective novels dominated the marketplace. There are faddish creative trends and then there are things that are kept alive due to corporate greed and their ability to monopolize the market.but the ips themselves arent the problem
Off topic as i can't regularly buy/follow comics or comic news but wtf? when did this happen? IT wouldn't be the first time Disney and the legal rights kerfuffle's they cause would screw with the source material though. Remember when their was a "no more new x-men or mutants," rule all cause they didn't own fox or the x-men at the time?I think killing Spider-Man
It makes no sense, it really does. Same with the censoring of Splash.
no risk no reward, else you get someone like iger. someone who tries a lot of different things naturally doesn't succeed in all of them, so it's pretty easy to give someone shit for it. just saying you can't have one without the other. No, the fuckups were pretty bad and nearly killed the company. The problem is that by the early 00s nothing was succeeding.no risk no reward, else you get someone like iger. someone who tries a lot of different things naturally doesn't succeed in all of them, so it's pretty easy to give someone shit for it. just saying you can't one without the other.

"Nothing?"It was the second-highest-grossing animated film of 2002, behind 20th Century Fox's Ice Age. They were the only two animated films to approach the $100 million mark that year.
That's the exception that proves the rule... as well as the Pixar films, arguably, but they didn't own the company at the time. There were so many flops...
Disney seemed to intentionally be shooting themselves at that time as I believe management wanted the animation department dead thanks to Pixar. Pixar was a massive success, so they didn't need the animation division. The problem is that by the early 00s nothing was succeeding.
That being the other exception, but it was part of Disney's attempt to do a series of ride-based movies originally (alongside The Country Bears and The Haunted Mansion) - and the fact that that one really took off was something no one at Disney expected.Disney seemed to intentionally be shooting themselves at that time as I believe management wanted the animation department dead thanks to Pixar. Pixar was a massive success, so they didn't need the animation division.
Also, your lying if you say nothing was a success in the early 00s when this juggernaut was taking off in 2003.

Maybe I was right that Mickey and or Minnie are cucking each other.Roy P. Disney reveals ‘our child is transgender’ in Human Rights Campaign fundraiser
"Roy P. Disney, the grand-nephew of Disneyland founder Walt Disney, jumped Tuesday into the feud between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Disney empire with a fundraising plea in which he disclosed that he has a transgender child.
Mr. Disney, whose grandfather Roy O. Disney founded the company with his brother Walt, said in a fundraising pitch for the Human Rights Campaign that he was “heartbroken” over the Florida bill barring schools from discussing gender identity and sexual orientation with students in grades K-3.
“My wife, Sheri, and I have been members of HRC for over 20 years,” said Mr. Disney in the email. “Equality matters deeply to us, especially because our child, Charlee, is transgender and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.”
He offered to match gifts of up to $500,000 or more as part of a campaign to help raise $1 million for the HRC, the nation’s largest LGBTQ advocacy group, which reported on its tax forms contributions of $44.7 million in 2020.
“We were heartbroken when Ron DeSantis signed the ‘Don’t Say Gay or Trans’ law in Florida,” Mr. Disney said. “The fight isn’t over, and we are determined to do everything we can to stop this from happening in other places.”
House Bill 1557, the bill signed March 28 by Mr. DeSantis, does not include the words “gay” or “transgender.”
“Parents have every right to be informed about services offered to their child at school, and should be protected from schools using classroom instruction to sexualize their kids as young as 5 years old,” Mr. DeSantis said.
The governor has sparred with the Walt Disney Co. over its opposition to the Parental Rights in Education Bill, suggesting that the state could revisit the special self-governing status created in 1967 around the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando.
“What I would say as a matter of first principle is I don’t support special privileges in law just because a company is powerful and they’ve been able to wield a lot of power,” Mr. DeSantis said last week at a press conference in West Palm Beach.
Mr. Disney said it was “simply despicable that state legislators and governors are using fear and lies to rally their base … trying to erase LGBTQ+ youth from school and sports, flat-out telling transgender and non-binary youth that they don’t belong, and revoking the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.”
He referred to bills passed in 13 states, including Florida, barring male-born athletes from competing in female sports.
It’s unclear how much clout Mr. Disney wields with the Walt Disney Co. He is not a member of the board of directors. His father, Roy E. Disney, was a longtime senior executive with the company who died in 2009.
HB 1557, which forbids schools from discussing sexuality and gender issues “in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students,” takes effect July 1.
In a March 28 statement, the Walt Disney Co. said that its goal was to have the law “repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts.”
“We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country,” the statement said."
She's fucking Goofy.Maybe I was right that Mickey and or Minnie are cucking each other.
