I've been looking into Tochka-U usage in the previous days.
Ukraine sources claim they can tell which way one of those missiles came from because as the warhead splits to release the bomblets, the tail section flies past the target area. So a March 14th missile attack in Donetsk was launched from Russian/Separatist controlled areas, they claim. (archive is slow as balls, live link)
The serial number starts with 90 (which could be factory code according to internet rumor) but it doesn't start with Ш, it starts with ВГ. Can't draw any conclusions from it.

Now, what are pro-Russian internet sleuths claiming about the potential launch site of the missile that hit the Kramatorsk train station?

They may have good intentions, but Ukrainian intelligence beat them to the punch. Half a month ago the Ukrainians already told the world that the tail section flies ahead of the target because the tail remains somewhat aerodynamic and still carries some mass, while the bomblets have less inertia to carry them forward. The pro-Russian channels are saying the tail section falls short of the target area, which is more intuitive. But if the Ukrainians are not lying about the tail section, the missile came from the East and not the West.

Oh sweet speak of the devil and an article sauce will appear

And since im a good goy I will even provide a translation so yall can catch a glimpse of the true heroism of the russian soldier
On April 9, a soldier Alexei Bychkov was detained in Russia, who was recording a video with sexual abuse of a baby, Vot Tak writes . A day earlier, a thread about Bychkov with a video was published on Twitter , where the man first says that he is recording a “fierce video”, after which he rubs an eyelash brush between the baby’s buttocks, and then licks her and drives her in the face. The time and place of the video shooting is unknown.

Information about Bychkov publishedVKontakte user Kostya Kikeev. According to him, Bychkov was born in 1997, registered in the Stavropol Territory and lives in the Krasnodar Territory. In addition, on March 8, 2022, he was fined for transporting children without a special seat in a car registered to Anastasia Tsekres. In correspondence with Vot Tak, Cecres stated that she had sold his wife's car, but she did not know "this bastard". Later, she told Vot Tak that she saw Bychkov's videos, wrote a statement to the police, and the man was detained.

The video with the baby is not the only one in which Bychkov demonstrates his sexual deviations. Several more videos have been posted on VKontakte, where he also commits violence against children. On others, Bychkov demonstrates his genitals, puts various objects into his anus and licks them. One of the VKontakte users who published the soldier’s details stated that he was uploading a video of child abuse to his friends and colleagues.

According to published information, Bychkov serves in the suburbs of Pskov in military unit No. 64044. According to the chairman of the Council of Veterans of the 76th Guards Division of the Airborne Forces, Yuri Sosedov, all military formations of the Pskov region are participating in the war in Ukraine.

On April 8, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova said that Russian soldiers had kidnapped more than 120,000 Ukrainian children. Some of them, according to the Ombudsman, were raped. Denisova said that Russian invaders raped an 11-year-old boy in Bucha. In the same place, five Russian soldiers raped a 14-year-old girl, after which she became pregnant

Thank orthodox-god such noble warriors exist to protect us all from globohomo and degeneracy.

You know, for all doom and gloom, all killing and dying. I wouldn't say that situation is hopeless.

After all, there was peace between Germany and Poland. And this war is nowhere near as brutal as WW2.
Thank you. These days I find myself swinging wildly between utter despondency and radiant optimism, and it is good to be reminded that the world has gone through worse without falling apart. I appreciate this.

Russia had no legitimate reason to invade Ukraine in 2014 or 2022. Ukraine did not wage war on Russia prior to the Russian invasion in either case. Vlad daddy's hard-on for ein volk ein reich ein bear rider doesn't hold water
While I agree Russian shouldn't have invaded, Ukraine is not absolved by any means. They knew they were pissing off Putin. A lot of Putin's points have been stuff I think are dumb or I just don't understand but some of them hold water.

My ignorant guess has been that the Ukrainian leadership felt comfortable due to all of the support they've been receiving. I bet the West was totally like "Yeah if Russia crosses the border we will support you all the way" implying one thing but meaning another.

I never said "Russia wants peace". I want peace. I am not Russia, I do not make decisions. This shitshow wouldn't have started if I had a say in it. I am afriad you are misreading between the lines.

Would it be nice if Putin said "that's it, wrap it up boys"? Hell yes.
Would it be nice if EU and US lift sanctions? Hell yes.
Would it be nice if Ukraine and the rest of the world stops its relentless campaign of hatred towards all things Russian? Hell yes, being at the receiving end of it is exhausting.

Is all (or any) of the above going to happen? Uh... no.

And the longer you ride the tiger, the more difficult it is to let go. Not long ago I started to fear we have passed the point of no return, which you noticed by the change of tone in my posts.

We live in interesting times. May the sane heads prevail and make the world at least not worse for everyone after this invasion ends, one way or another.
Russia dug the grave, I can't feel sorry for the guys in charge and hate they might use this as an excuse to continue said war.

Russia could have not invaded at all like they have for the past 8 years of this thing.
Russia could have invaded only Donbass and not convince literally every Ukrainian right from Week 1 that this was a war of national survival by doing an all out invasion.
Russia could have not questioned Ukraine's right as a nation to exist multiple times.

If Russia only focused on Donbass, and made said goals clear in both words and actions, this thing would already be over, Ukraine would have either bent the knee because this isn't a war of national survival or Russia would have managed to get the land they wanted because they would be much more focused. Maybe the withdraw from northern Ukraine signals this is now what Russia is going for more or less, but Russia made everyone think for a month they wanted to completely destroy Ukraine as a nation or take so much land away it becomes a shadow of it's already poor former self.

I can't blame Ukrainians for becoming so angry and nationalistic when they have good reason to believe they're fighting for their country's very survival and the other side is saying "Oh no it's not a war it's a Special Military Operation".

An interesting coincidence. Russian social networks lit up today with reports of threatening letters and personal messanges sent to Russian familes living in Germany. Strange these things started happening on the same day.
It really seems to prove my personal theory that the only thing the Germans are actually sorry about in regards to ww2 is losing it.

I don't understand why the world supports Ukraine to be honest. Ukraine is a country who bullies his citizens, is one of the places with more international crimes happening (abductions, drugs, funding terrorism), the administration is full of people who are corrupt and in perpetual power, their growth has been stunted by politics who only enriched people in power, while having most of the population under the poverty line.

Is a shithole of a country.

I'm more amazed on why Russia didn't bombed the shit out of them in the first place. Russia is being really soft for my taste, if I were aid of Putin I would have told him to bomb, capture the president and hang him in a public square while broadcasting it worldwide for everyone to see.

Putin clearly stated their goals and they haven't shifted from them as far as I know, though "demilitarization" and "denazification" are vague and the "Phase 1 Complete!" thing sounds like last-minute cope to save face.

There has been talk that Russia did what they did to divide up all of the Ukrainian forces, though I believe it is also because they want more than just the Donbas out of this.
It's probably better to cripple an entire country rather than focusing all in one area that already has a lot of arty and missiles pointed at it.

I blame the Ukrainian government and Zelensky in particular. They've been increasingly dehumanizing Russians for at least a decade now.

I find it fascinating how being invaded absolves one of past sins.

Agreed minus the last bit, since Russia wants to annex it and Russia would probably suck at a blitz invasion of a city the size of Kiev just to get to Z-man in his bunker. Plus them's just bad international optics, as good a flex they may be.
