Gosh golly Feralheart (aka the shittiest mmo of all time with no gameplay features except a chat system and walking around) is a whole 'nother can of worms I'll have to dig into soon because I still have my account from when I got bored and decided to make skins for the game.
Esstentially it's a 3-D wolf/lion mmo where the only thing you can do is chat and do shitty roleplays with people. There are no items, no goals, no obstacles, no levels and all you do is delve into furry roleplay hell

Naw, I was making custom Feralheart presets at the end of my 12 year old furry phase where all the furries were actual animals who danced to anime songs with a total of 4 frames of animation and you badly animated random little memes such as "WOW THATS A LOW PRICE" it was a very innocent time to be drawing animals. Inexplicably this weird niche of 12 year old furries has gone to a new generation of stupid 12 year olds except now they make "Muliple Animator Projects" that never get finished because they either do something too ambitious or they don't get enough 12 year olds to sign on to their collab thingy

What exactly is roleplay? Do they just pick a character and then pretend to like...have a scene or something with someone and then fuck? Like is it just a euphemism for cybersex? I'm confused.

They just make up their own stories as they go along. Like fnaf, warriors or lion king stuff. They'll make their own packs and have little bios written on their original character pages. It was meant for kids, but I'm sure someone attempted to have a sexual roleplay in that game somewhere.

i meant in general. i always see people talking about furry roleplays. i guess its just what you described but with gross furry neckbeard fapping added in...ugh.

It depends on the person since "furry rp" can be a million different things. For some people it's strictly a flimsy excuse to cyberfuck, or indulge in some kind of fetish. For other people it's kind of like a 2-man DnD-esque thing where two people just want to have fun acting out some kind of story...just with more sex.

I remember that old classic. Buddy of mine often points me towards these super-entertaining RP stories (fucking Old Man Hendersen is still a favorite), and I think this was the first one he ever told me about. Love reading about these tabeltop games that go off the rails.

For the life of me I will never understand these people that GM these games and turn them into their own personal fantasies, then try to get total strangers who sign up for these games to indulge. Still not as bad as the guy who tried to run a homebrew game based around his pregnancy fetish, though. Isn't the point of running these games to give your players a fun time? Do these people really think a bunch of total strangers want to be a part of their wacko furry/pregnancy/whatever fetishes?

Blows my mind.
