General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

So Gura plays Elden Ring for chill time and dying, while playing Kirby sparks up her fuse.

They get a 1.5 minute clip of her swearing out of a 5 hour stream. If it was a Calli, Kiara, etc stream you'd pretty much just have to clip the whole stream!

Funnily enough, in a member's stream a bit less than a week back, someone actually commented about the weird noises Gura was making during her previous Kirby streams and she brought up that it's just noises she makes at video games. She did bring up swearing though too. "I can't swear profusely, because I don't see the need for that, necessarily. I could, but I don't want to." From this stream around 1:06:38 if you have membership.

I guess the latest Kirby stream tilted her enough to get a few out of her though!

It does make me think about those people though whose rrats are about how the foul-mouthed Senzawa is under there still, waiting to be let out, and just being held back because she's in hololive. I think comments like the above and stuff like reading between the lines of Reflect show that she has left Senzawa behind and moved on, become a different person. It's pretty obvious looking at others in holoEN there's nothing holding them back from swearing all the time and doing whatever they want, so if she truly wanted to be that way it wouldn't be hololive restraining her and forcing her to be a "seiso idol".

Is she even supposed to be a penguin or are people trying to pull a Subaru and gaslight her into being one?

Painguin.

I feel like it has to have been setup to be a joke from the beginning. The color scheme and long dress kind of already give her the look if you make the connection and then the name is just way too similar. Kovalskia <> Kowalski (one of the penguins from the Penguins of Madagascar movies, which are apparently really popular and meme'd a lot in ID?) She played it up a bit and denied some at debut, but had already accepted it within like a day.

Pretty sure she once said she didn't fast because she have chronic stomach issue
Edit:
Ninja'd

Zeta also has some issues from what I remember. She said she's unlikely to do endurance streams because she has to make sure to eat, drink, and sleep regularly/on a schedule otherwise she can get light headed and possibly faint or collapse too. (Due to immune and blood pressure issues?)

Kson is doing her first game stream on Twitch, with a 10,000 bit minimum to cheer.... (200 dollars) Since she reads every super chat on YT I'm going to assume shes not being greedy and just messed up. Had a sub goal of 500, currently at 750+ with 7K viewers. Seeing all the people who are streaming on both platforms tells you the faith they have in YT.
Twitch is good as a possible backup streaming platform but that place is basically at the whims of Advert and Music Companies. Currently Twitch is basically coasting on the fact that companies aren't really paying attention to the content that's actually on the platform but when something raises a stink Twitch basically bends over backwards to let them do whatever they want to the platform which is how the Copyright/DMCA debacle about music ended up fucking the platform for a while.

This guy Pippa is talking to has some interesting stories from his time at Blizzard. I'm glad she was able to interview him especially considering his take on the Microsoft acquisition and how it really isn't going to change a whole lot of anything. Very unfortunate but unsurprising.

He's mentioned a few "alt-right" leaning channels now and dismissed Nina. Not a shock that Pippa would become a comfortable outlet to approach, considering THOSE crowds mentioning her outright, I am sure if BroTeam wasn't such a lost cause, he'd have also interviewed him.
This is off topic, but what happened with BroTeam? I haven't heard news about that guy in years. He go off the deepend or something?

Toxic Mumei was great. I had this stream on in the background and very much enjoyed it. It probably helps that I have no clue about Overwatch.

I wonder though, does Kronii now always speak extremely exaggerated like that? I know the monotone thing is her style but it's like she deliberately stretches every syllable even more. It's almost painful to listen to at this point. I could forgive it if she was actually good at deadpan humor or something.

6 of one half a dozen of the other

Im beginning to think that Sen was an edgy phase she more or less grew out of which is fine cause Gura is basically just a less try hard Sen imo not to say that i didn't enjoy Sen but i can see how she was a forced persona that Gura would get tired of

Seems the thread forgot about Luca’s birthday, surprised it was posted yet. The chat with Nijimems was funny, especially Yugo malding over ice cream cake.

Anyway go wish Luca a happy pog birthday before the stream ends.

Feels weird for them to run specifically a tournament without making sure the overalls are balanced; guessing it was just meant for fun, and that most clearance done was on info and appearance, to make sure nobody snuck a niggers anywhere on the CAW. Admittedly it'd be cool it there was some limit on the OVR, or if they encouraged messing with movesets; something that'd make the sim more interesting. In the end though, it's Vtubers fucking around having fun, so I doubt they'll pay too much attention unless they collab with/get guidance from a wrestling-related channel, whether official like UUDD, or fan like nL. It also seems really unlikely they'd make it weekly, have they mentioned that at any point? Selen did mention wanting to do more with other Niji branches, but busy schedules make it being weekly unlikely. If anything, she's probably gonna be all over Overwatch 2 the moment that shit's out.

I doubt it'll be weekly and Selen is not the kind of person you go to for that level of consistency anyway. There was an unfinished Mika in the roster so I think other branches are being considered, but it'll be every couple of months.

I'd actually appreciate this becoming some kind of tradition when a new wave or two join EN and make it a semi-annual thing.

Lets hope another Great Purge doesn't happen again. If Kson really wanted to maximize potential earnings she'd refuse the partnership/affiliate contract from twitch and use restream to put herself everywhere all at once.

Last I heard he got shadowrealmed off of Youtube, twitter and twitch, and now he streams somewhere and uploads to his own site. He still seems to be making some money on Patreon.
That's a shame, him fucking around with people on Tinder and Grindr was peak comedy.

Saw something interesting. I don’t know how to verify it, but it confirms my beliefs anyway regarding JP popularity.

She mentioned this yesterday, it's to comply with the FromSoft streaming rules - on platforms like Twitch where you can't disable monetisation, you just have to explicitly tell people not to donate (and setting the minimum value to the highest possible also helps, though it's not strictly necessary).

Wait hold the fuck on, Vee has a WIFE? A REAL ONE?
The stuttering retard who spent his 20's sucking a british faggot's dick has a WIFE?
A QT trad-cath, even. Wignats seething.

Very good Pippa stream, Pippenis slip included.
Hopefully she does more of these because they're really interesting.
Not bad but kind of odd. Still not sure why this happened. Of all the indie devs who might want to give interviews and raise awareness of their projects, why this guy? Was there some payola or something? I and many others were guessing it'd be Mark Kern, a former Blizzard dev who is both already more well-known and whose game isn't pornographic; I'm sure he would have been just as interesting of an interview. But why this guy? Do we even know what his real name is?

Porn aside I like the game's look. Definitely seems to have a couple layers of polish above and beyond Pixel Indie Game #44,329. Wonder how it will play.

If they could find someone else willing to do an interview with this rabbit, I'd definitely consider tuning in. They definitely need to figure out the technical issue and take that lag out behind the barn, though.
