Are you a parent? Do your children attend public school? I know I'm speaking to a limited audience on this forum of all places, but if you fit into both of these classes, contemplate this:

Your children are spending more time being indoctrinated by the government than by you.

Society is based on these shared horrors, which we take as givens, but how much horrifying shit do you see every day that nobody challenges, is considered completely normal, and slips beneath the radar that usually detects madness?

Circumcision. I know my take won’t be welcomed by all, but it must be said.

I had a coworker once who was pregnant and for some reason she was already talking about when she planned on getting him clipped. Like Jesus, lady. Let the poor kid take a breath first. Not Jewish, even…Just one of those southern white girls.

Thé amount of food that so much of the western world waste us criminal, it’s a very world trouble cliche but you could literally feed an entire starving Malawian village with about half of the food a American high school cafeteria throws out. The waste and greed of humans is astounding even now.

24/7 availability, courtesy of mobile phones and email. It's just expected now, and most kids are so used to the idea that they both need to always be reachable and that most of what they do is public or recorded that they really have zero idea of what privacy is.
It's a fucking bastard to counter, too.

Mental illness and autism, the real variety not the twitter kind. I don't mean it in an edgy way, things like should be seen as not great instead of the current attitude that is a precious and special thing. No it's not. I don't know what the next step will be, maybe they will be standing around epileptics cheering and clapping when they have a seizure then try to forbid any "conversion therapy" that makes people seizure free.

We're apparently okay with being addicted to caffeine despite the documented effects. To the point people get into slapfights over which caffeine delivery method is best. It's kind of fucked when you stop to think about it.

Might as well be the first to say this one:

Troonism, the 'sport' of preying on people to convert to troonism, appropriating every fucking loosely related word to claim it was ACKSHUALLY a transphobic slur (IE traps, shemales etc), the profits pharmaceuticals make off of these idiots, the grooming of children into the troon cult, how transgenderism was once just another part of lgbt but has been hijacked by mentally ill men.

And it's only getting worse.

Honestly how unhealthy fast food is- the amount of calories, sodium, grease, it's ridiculous

Like you can make just about anything you'd find at a fast food place for a cheaper price and for half the calories, and it'll keep you full longer

Fast food joints in general are horrifying- the food waste, the diseases, the way the workers are treated, the crappy pay despite the high profits, the pests spread, the HIGH amounts of litter caused by fast food places (wrappers, drink cups, straws, etc.), the sources of the food used, how just about every small town has at least one of these corporate overlords edging in and pushing out mom and pop cafes.

And obesity- how normalized it is, and how MANY people are overweight or obese. It's worrying.
Wish there was a real pushback against fast food corporations, everyone I know who's obese is also a frequent fast food customer. Correlation doesn't equal causation, but there's definitely a connection there.

No shit sherlock but with respect. Tell me next time when people in general are less vulnerable to influences.

I remember when Mcdonald's made a big thing about getting rid of most of their polystyrene containers because people were throwing them out of car windows. It didn't stop the fast food wrapper trash at all. Just cut down on the polystyrene. People still throw fry cartons, cups and wrappers all over the place.

Trash in general just being thrown really gets to me. Last summer I saw a lady and her kids just throw freeze pop tubes and a glass bottle on the ground just feet away from a solar compactor. The glass bottle hit a cab tire and the lady actually ran back to apologise. Well at least she wasn't a total barbarian.

I don't understand why people throw trash out of car windows. It's not going to kill you to keep it in a bag until you get to a trash can.

Where I live there's a lot of illegal dumping. We have municipal pickup yet people insist on dumping trash bags and old furniture anywhere they want. We even had someone dumb a whole bunch of boxes in our trash last year. Once a lot of people start doing it everyone thinks it's ok.

When people get upset at being addressed as Sir or Ma'am. More than a few occasions, even addressing a email to a collegue, somebody got their feathers ruffled because I used a term of respect for them. A form of respect that has been taught, and required of good etiquette among proper Southerners. If we didn't use this, we get a whoppin from our mama, it's that serious. Don't make us go against our mamas.

As a diagnosed aspie.....

No, autism is not a superpower. At best, it's something that can be kept down to a minimum so you can make the most out of daily life. At its worst, well....

I seriously have nightmares about the above video every so often, and thank God every day that my autism is more the former and not the latter.

>tfw you're so fucking thin-skinned that a term used for addressing others respectfully triggers you

This is the right answer, you'd think all this talk about troons and gays being normalized is scary? Go to Islamic countries, see what's considered normal over there... Now that is horrifying
Both are equally horrible, but for different reasons. Alphabetism because it forces sexuality out in the open, to disastrously horrible results. Islam is a barbaric, backwards religion that doesn't allow women to even show their full face. Although one point in Islam's favor is that they throw their faggots off of rooftops. Something what we should start doing over here (in GTA, of course).
