Even if you could get the AP 5.7 it's penetration ability was questionable even back in the 90s but it's completely outdated now thanks to advances in body armor. Modern level 4 armor easily stops 5.7, if you really need AP in a compact format an AR with 10.5' barrel and green tip is objectively better in every way.
