General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Eastern cultures are very conservative, collectivistic, and frankly totalitarian. It's why you inevitably see stuff like what happened in Imperial Japan, Maoist China, North Korea, Communist Cambodia, and Socialist Burma. It sometimes allow amazing ideas or things to be made through hard work and dedication, but also leads to extreme toxicity for anyone deemed "an outsider," and in the extreme cases I mentioned above, outright genocide. Rushia is mentally unstable and thus an outsider; Kson/Coco is helping her because she comes from a western background which is more individualistic and accepting of redemption.

Amiya Arahna continues her fmv game week with 7th guest today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bh-esy3n9UY Reminder she has a full week of them, but I'll save my shilling for other streamers the rest of this week.
Chat told her about Kenji Eno's games again during the Dragon's Lair stream, I hope she'll take a look at them. Only D would qualify as a full FMV game but it'd be absolutely fantastic if she ever played Enemy Zero.

Not that I see the issue. I thought HoloEN was more of an 'entertainment group' over their idol senpai? They're going to have to get used to male voices when StarsEN comes out.
I wish this were true but i feel like if a StarsEN comes out management will cuck them and prevent them from collabing too much with the Girls.

Wow, but again, its the same community that respects Amouranth, Pokimane and other egirls. A shame because i wanted to like nijiEn (specially the girls) but their constant involvement with vshojo just makes me walk away.
I don't feel like it's as "constant" as you make it out to be. I just ignored those collab.

Maybe I'm weird, but I don't give a shit of Gura said "so gay" or not. My gut reaction is to say "She can say what she wants, fuck you." Off the top of my head I can remember her unambiguously making fun of other groups like the English and Millenials. The idea that she maybe-possibly-perhaps said something not 100% flattering about gays just doesn't even register.
She will ignore it and since the people bitching about it won't get a reaction it will all pass and nothing will happen.

Finished watching the Enna + Mika roommates collab and that was yab as fuck.

So Haachama left Rushia out of her "harem," sadly. She ended the stream kind of quickly, right at the part where Rushia should have been.

Chama's retarded, but she's not dumb. A bunch of her fans love Rushia too and were waiting to see what's allowed. We know her earlier supportive gestures were deleted, so... If she'd continued after the suspense ended—ended so unsatisfyingly—all our minds would have been elsewhere.

She's a good kid.

"Was only multiple disks."
God just seeing this makes me realize not only how long ago stuff like this was, but just how fast tech is moving.
Since we started this with Enemy Zero, that game came on four discs too. The first disc contains only the intro movie (and a wireframe tutorial introducing you to the game's corridor crawling with invisible enemies system, but that couldn't have taken much space at all).

Ah yes, 'angry schizos on Twitter (finest American invention)' is the most accurate representation of a country's culture and not the people who actually make the things you enjoy every day. Japan is repressive and regressive and women are forced to wear hijabs or risk being stoned. This matome blog that I can't read proves that the entire nation is upset about Uruha Rushia and is onboard with victim blaming.

Two nukes weren't enough.

Congrats you're a "normal" person. I'm sorry but twitter will be automatically uninstalled from all your devices!

I can save you some time wondering and just say nothing is going to come of this, if it were there would be more chater about this outside of just some people here and on /vt/ thirsting for drama. the whole misheard lyrics tier drama bait that these sorts of things are never amount to anything and that's a good thing because lord would it be retarded if it did.

For comparison consider the Suisei "Nye-girl" sounding like "nigger" nonsense that people tried to bait into becoming drama on r/hololive. Even the most normie of redditors can tell when it's just something innocuous that might sort of sound like they're saying something else.

Lesser things have been latched on to and blown up, cancelling people you wouldn't think possible. Probably nothing will come of it, like you said, but who knows. We just monitor/watch here, it isn't our job to decide or judge, but only mock.

Also, comparing to a JP slipup is totally different. They have the excuse that they don't know english well (or at all) or half of what they are saying when they try to copy/speak it. Hell, the Miko copying and singing "nigger" while playing GTA is one of the golden clips that brought many people into the rabbit hole. Unfortunately Gura can't use the ESL excuse.

What was deleted? The only thing I had heard of as supportive from Haachama to Rushia was when she claimed all her stuff in minecraft so it wouldn't get bulldozed. Did she do some other stuff that they made her take down?
