Multiple people shot, unexploded devices found at NYC train station

NEW YORK (AP) — Multiple people were shot Tuesday morning at a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, the city fire department said.

Fire personnel responding to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park neighborhood found multiple people shot and undetonated devices, a New York City Fire Department spokesperson said.

According to a law enforcement source briefed on the investigation, preliminary information indicated a suspect was dressed in construction attire.

A photo from the scene showed people tending to bloodied passengers lying on the floor of the station.

Further details were not immediately available. New York City police said they were responding to reports of people wounded either by gunfire or an explosion.

Trains servicing that station were delayed during the morning rush hour.

Suspect Was Previous FBI Guardian Lead​

The man suspected in the Brooklyn subway shooting Tuesday is known to the FBI, a federal law enforcement officer told Newsweek's Naveed Jamali.

The suspect, who has yet to be identified, was a previous FBI Guardian Lead out of New Mexico. He was interviewed multiple times by the FBI and eventually cleared in 2019, the officer said.

"The Guardian Program, managed by the FBI, provides a proven methodology for reporting, sharing, tracking, and mitigating a large volume of counterterrorism-based incidents," the FBI website says.

Tuesday's attack; however, cannot be classified as terrorism until a motive is determined, the officer said.

Not sure if you are serious or not, holding it sideways would account for his terrible aim/accuracy but wouldn't affect the ejection at all.

Not if it causes you to "limp wrist" the gun, remember the slide needs to move relative to the pistol grip to eject and cycle, if the whole gun moves too much the slide would have much less speed and force relative to the grip.
