Oh, I absolutely agree. I forgot to add the most important context, which is that Philip and Ethan has a has a history together and considers to be friends. But I do not know if they do anymore after this. My apologies, I got caught up.
During Frenemies Trisha Paytas commented something about Philips weight. Philip took it very badly and sent a long, " nasty " text message to Ethan which they read on Frenemies, but did not read out loud and just hinted who it was. Of course, Reddit figured out it was Philip DeFranco as they were friends before Ethan and Trisha, but had the falling out during Trisha in the same time frame. . . . And as soon as Frenemies fell, Ethan and Philip made up and were friends again.
Ethan has several times said he considers Philip to be a good friend . . . And Phil often asks for his opinion or statement when covering Ethan on his show, as for example the lawsuits with Kavanaugh. Ethan has said so many times his podcast in the past. So the fact that Philip is covering Ethans' takes, while not allowing him to make a statement, hints to me that he is adding fuel to the fire . . . Especially as in the next video Philip highlights a comment critical of Ethans' podcast remarks, which is calling it homophobic, in the end.
Ethan hates it when his friends " turn " on him. . . But in this case it could be assumed that Philip is going against Ethan and " turned " on him.
Similar with Kat Tenbarge. . . . The journalist Ethan had on the podcast discussing the alleged rape and sexual assaults of David Dobrik. Kat Tenbarge criticized Ethan on Twitter for some of the takes he had . . . And Ethan blocked her and started discrediting her by arguing she is as bad as David Dobrik because she had been supplying alcohol to underage friend, even if in this case it did not end up in an alleged sexual assault crime.
