Inactive Andrew Dobson / Tom Preston / CattyN - STOP DOING SEXIST CRAP

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
If anyone is ever looking for specific journal entries or for sources on his most famous fuck-ups (airport chair throwing incident, poop radio incident, the time he told Zelda Williams to calm her tits, etc...) they're mostly in the OP. I did the OP rewrite a while ago so that the most heavily referenced pieces of Dobson lore would be easy to find. His DeviantArt journals are all archived in a google drive link, included in the OP
They go all the way back to 2004 and up to 2014.
The rest can be found on one of the archive sites. When he announced he was deleting his DA, someone went and archived all the journal entities he had posted there.

@Ghostse IDK man, Cuckistan is getting pretty cucked. The city literally yanked out one of the best outdoor public swimming pools in a park next to the high school, because when it was drained for the non-summer, kids were using it as a "fighting pit". This is why we cannot have nice things.

(DSP also has the problem of simply having sold his soul to satan for idiot's luck; he's sort of infuriating to follow because no matter how he fucks up, he some how comes through it all right. See: Lying in court about bankruptcy. Its absolutely mind boggling that he spends $10,000 a week on WWE wrestling gacha, but you can't do anything with that information other than be enraged this mother fucker makes more money in a month than the average person does in year just for being fat and bad at games)
Was it something I said about DarkSyde Phil being the Andrew Dobson of the gaming world?

Didn't Dobbo stop wearing the "Indy hat" after the "right wing MRA" supposedly "ruined it" for him, or because people mocked it?
He even did a comic about it. Which is hilarious because he absolutely was a fedora wearing neckbeard.

As Andrew Dobson awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect. He was lying on his hard, as it were armor-plated, back and when he lifted his head a little he could see his dome-like brown belly divided into stiff arched segments on top of which the bed quilt could hardly keep in position and was about to slide off completely. His numerous legs, which were pitifully thin compared to the rest of his bulk, waved helplessly before his eyes.

Oh thank god, I thought I was going to wake up as Andrew Dobson again! he thought. Waking up as a giant, mansized cockroach thing instead of himself, Dobson felt that his life was finally in a upward arc.

I still think he may have undiagnosed autism.
I am absolutely convinced of it, and I've come to change how I feel about him and instead now feel sorry for him as a result. (This is why I don't really participate in this thread anymore.) Autism is a condition that tends to make people thoroughly miserable, and he doesn't even know that he has it so there's no chance that he can do anything about it. It also makes it very hard to change or even to realize what you need to change. I've learned a lot about how autism works biochemically, and I know that what Andrew needs includes nutritional therapy and interventions aimed at changing his gut microbiome. He also needs a therapist who is experienced in dealing with autistic people. I hope that his parents would be willing to take him to a good naturopath. I pray to Jesus Christ for his healing, which is something that I would recommend to Andrew as well. If anyone wants my advice on nutrition for autistic people, send me a private message, and I'll be happy to share what I've learned!

Do you mean misery through social isolation and lack of success due to lack of skills, or does autism (also) naturally result in depression as a symptom?
The latter, although certainly the former is a factor as well. Autistic people have multiple neurochemical imbalances that naturally strongly predispose towards depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, irritability, rage, insomnia, and (usually) excess/deviant sexuality. To name just one, autistic people are deficient in zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6, all of which are necessary to synthesize the neurotransmitter serotonin. Some autistic people have self-antibodies against their own cerebral folate transporter as well, resulting in cerebral folate deficiency which in turns leads to tetrahydrobiopterin deficiency, which is yet another cofactor for serotonin synthesis. To make matters worse, selective-reuptake inhibitor drugs for depression have the effect of further lowering zinc, which can induce suicidal depression when it drops too low. This is of course more likely in people, like autistics, who are deficient in zinc in the first place. I'm glad that Andrew is apparently taking an MAOI instead (or at least was a while ago, I don't know any more than anyone else about what he is doing now).

Best case scenario is he’s disappeared because he finally got help :)

I think that he's still out there, just indistinguishable from countless others with similar views because he changed his usernames and stopping doing art. Given that he's never liked the amount of work needed to produce a finished drawing, or the criticism he gets for it, or the attention of the trolls, I'm guessing that a therapist has strongly recommended that he just stop doing it. But I also think that there may be another factor: autistic tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) deficiency due to cerebral folate deficiency. BH4 is necessary to synthesize serotonin, but also to synthesize dopamine. When your BH4 is low, your dopamine is low, which causes ADD. In particular, what I've noticed with progressive BH4 deficiency is that you gradually lose the ability to participate in hobbies that you love, but are just more demanding than what your newer, lower levels of concentration can handle. For example, I used to play Final Fantasy XI, a very complex, grind-heavy, unforgiving MMORPG, as well as high-"crunch" (rules complexity) tabletop RPGs like 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons. But they both require a lot of mental energy and time investment, so as my dopamine dropped I played them less and less until I completely stopped. I still liked them, but I just couldn't get past the initial "hump" to get to the rewarding parts any more. I think this may have happened with Andrew and art.

To make things worse, if you have ADD they'll put you on stimulants like methylphenidate (Ritalin/Concerta) or amphetamine (Adderall); these increase dopamine release, but in the long term they'll deplete your dopamine levels even further since they aren't helping the core issue with dopamine synthesis (the missing enzyme cofactor BH4). Eventually you will reach a point of burnout where no stimulant works any more. The cure is to supplement with BH4. This works, I started seeing improvements within a couple of days. Folinic acid can also help, since folate is necessary to recycle BH4 but self-antibodies against the cerebral folate transporter result in the brain having a hard time absorbing it; folinic acid is a form of folate that can be taken into the brain by a different method, bypassing the impaired folate transporter.

I’ve given my reasons for why I don’t think he has autism and I’ll stand by them. I’d sooner but he had some kind of narcissism or similar. Because if he’s gonna claim PTSD from a spray bottle and fucking Imposter Syndrome over being “too popular”, than you can bet your ass he would have never shut the fuck up about being autistic if he had been.

Dude is just a straight up dick.
