Have a gamer moment, get banned from all your content. I don't condone what he said, I don't approve of what he said, but the punishment of this "crime", should be extremely, EXTREMELY worrying to all of us. What if Microsoft adopts a policy like this? What if Sony does? Nintendo? Or Steam? We're increasingly coming into this era where the mob will do anything, up to and including "guilt by association", to get you banned from life.

The idea of losing access to the things you buy because you said the wrong thing or associated with the wrong people is the sort of thing you’d see in North Korea but we have people here so incredibly stupid and short sighted they’ll push for it, get it implemented then whine and cry when they’re banned because “I did what I was told. I’M ONE OF THE GOOD ONES!”

Yet if you try to lead them to the “We can use your own tools against you” thought they’ll fight it like they’re a dog getting a bath.

both, kind of. nepenthe attempted a limp defense about how we need to offer forgiveness and help to him especially because he's a child (afaik he's 19 or something), a few others joined her but were mainly overshadowed by most of the rest of the posters calling for his head for being mean to m'ladies in video games.

I'm more concerned over his "punishment" than I am over him being mean to the women folk, especially since said woman instigated a lot of his retaliation towards her dumb ass. Honey, if you can't handle the shit talk, DON'T FUCKING SHIT TALK, THEN ACT THE VICTIM WHEN CALLED OUT ON YOUR BULLSHIT.

He was banned because he's an influencer and has a large audience. Honestly, blacks are the only ones brazen enough to behave like this with huge audiences. Most white people are kept on a much tighter leash. Tyrone chimped too close to the sun with his privileges.
