BakaThey're shipping it. They're sinking my battleship. Ship just got real. Ship happened. I ship them.![]()
Because judging by what we've seen so far, this war will either end in a nuclear holocaust or anime becoming real. Why are so many of you emotionally invested in this?
The Donbass is now the focal point of the war and always has been because you need to cope about Russia failing at Kiev, Chernihiv, Kharkov, and Mikolaiev, taking forever to succeed at Mariupol, and the previous great Russian successes at Kherson and Melitopol suddenly aren't consequential like they were claimed to be before because reasonsThe Donbas has been the focal point of the war since the beginning because that is where the bulk of the Ukrainian forces are. I really don't see what's delusional about that.
Well it doesn't seem so far like they are keen on storming Odessa, what I meant is I think they do intend to occupy it when all is said and done and if there is an Ukrainian rump state left, given that one of the goals of the war was demilitarization, I'd guess the Russians would take that in mind and ensure that they didn't have the capabilities to fire at ships from 200 miles inland. That is if they win the war.And yeah its clear you don't understand what I mean, If the Russians take Odessa will they just avoid ever stationing any ships there since the Ukrainians could just fire at them from 200 miles further inland ? Or will the Russians than have to occupy that territory as well ?
I mean, they have already lost even without the war in Ukraine.ngl, I'm more wanting to see the US lose than I am wanting to see Russia win.
I'm not super emotionally invested, but when I see how Chink media presents this as a showdown between America and Russia, I want whatever side the Chinks hate to win, which happens to be America. Seeing them seethe over a pseudo-Taiwan adventure going belly up would be pleasant. Why are so many of you emotionally invested in this?
I mean Russia won't stop unless they are able to control Moldova, parts of Poland, all the Baltic nations, and Ukraine. During the time of the USSR this allowed them to plug every gap they have and currently they're vulnerable to invasion from the western powers. This is why they're so game on NATO being pushed back as at this current moment Russia is very vulnerable to a NATO counter attack.Russia looks pathetic right now and that ship being sunk is just the cheery on top the sundae of this shit show. Whatever the ultimate outcome is of this, I don't see how they don't come out of this as a laughing stock. Nukes are literally their only bargaining chip, making Putin look Kim Jong Un tier. I expect Sweden and Finland will join NATO soon as a result of this too. WTF is Vlad going to do, nuke them? If he literally never invaded, he'd look stronger than he does now.
This will lead to a war. Russia is willing to engage in a losing war against NATO if it means they can secure their buffer zones. This war will probably escalate not deescalate at the current moment. They're both going to join NATO, it's about half a step away from being a foregone conclusion. Sweden has said yup we're going to and Finland is being a bit more circumspect but they did say their defense review of the situation was unequivocal, it concluded they should join. That's a big tell
Most of them see Putin as savior of the west, or Russians as orc's invading their land. Why are so many of you emotionally invested in this?
I mean right now Ukraine has over a million+Soldiers/Foreign fighters at their disposal. Having a thousand men surrender in Mariupol after lasting for over a month+ and causing serious enough delays to allow a good portion of the tougher fighters to escape meanwhile the marines surrender after running out of ammo seems like a testement to their combat ability.Yes, but without the ship.
The Russians once were able to beat the French while losing Moscow.
I like how Ukibross quickly swept the surrender of 1000 Ukrainian soldiers under the rug, declared a shameful defeat of Russia, and started smugly dilating without posting anything of significance.
I've been saying the Donbas was the focus of the war since the beginning, it's not some moving of the goalposts. You act like they tried to storm Kiev and were repelled, that never happened. The Donbass is now the focal point of the war and always has been because you need to cope about Russia failing at Kiev, Chernihiv, Kharkov, and Mikolaiev, taking forever to succeed at Mariupol, and the previous great Russian successes at Kherson and Melitopol suddenly weren't consequential like they were because reasons
Okay Donbass Bob sure
The dream will never dieWell it doesn't seem so far like they are keen on storming Odessa, what I meant is I think they do intend to occupy it when all is said and done and if there is an Ukrainian rump state left, given that one of the goals of the war was demilitarization, I'd guess the Russians would take that in mind and ensure that they didn't have the capabilities to fire at ships from 200 miles inland. Why not both? I'm sure a bit of radiation will make your eyes take up 70% of your head. Annoying screeching and general autism are optional.Because judging by what we've seen so far, this war will either end in a nuclear holocaust or anime becoming real.
Yeah, sure, the surrender of a 1000 soldiers is a bigger blow than the sinking of a multi-million ship that served as an important AA and Artillery platformYes, but without the ship.

He fell for leddit memes.right now Ukraine has over a million+Soldiers/Foreign fighters at their disposal
Just a feint cope is just about the best cope. Why did Russia have to withdraw everything west of Kharkov to provide the assets for the Donbass offensive (that STILL hasn't begun yet unless it did in the last hour)? Why wouldn't Russia attack from the DPR and LPR at the same time it was tying down 30,000 hohol soldiers around Kiev and Chernihiv?I've been saying the Donbas was the focus of the war since the beginning, it's not some moving of the goalposts. You act like they tried to storm Kiev and were repelled, that never happened.
I mean it's not plebbit if you take a look at Ukraine's armed forces count the Regular army ie 200,000 men, the national batallions that's about a million men. Then add in civilian fighters and foreign fighters that's even more. I mean all in all Russia trying to take over marupol has cost them time, men, and resources in this war which is very very crucial in war.He fell for leddit memes.
At best they had around 600 000 personnel total at the start of the operation. Where you are taking this million from I don't know.I mean it's not plebbit if you take a look at Ukraine's armed forces count the Regular army ie 200,000 men, the national batallions that's about a million men. They can't afford to scrap it. It's the only carrier they have, if they scrap it without a replacement it could be decades before they regain the capability for carrier operations, if ever. Once you've lost the capability to do some things, it's a massive pain in the ass to remain them, it's almost as bad as starting from scratch.they should scrap the Kuznetsov too imho... as much as it was a nice ship on paper.
