So, what's the consensus here for why Phil has been so desperate lately? I legitimately can't think of a reasonable explanation for why Phil is so afraid of having one single stream with "low support" without begging.

Is it just the gacha addiction? Only if he's wasting hundreds every week, which I find hard to believe.

Is it because he's afraid of Khet leaving, so he showers her with gifts? I doubt it, she doesn't have anywhere to go if she dumps Phil.

Is it just because he's so used to begging that he can't fathom low support not being a reason to beg? I think this is the most likely explanation. Phil's just conditioned himself to beg, to the point that it's second nature to him now.

What do you guys think?

I think it might be a smaller-like symptom like the vest-streak. Gets a taste of one day getting over a big chunk of tips, and then tries to gaslight and get everyone behind it that it should be the new normal amount.

You know this nigga spent everytip he got under the sun right away because birthday cashtipmoney is meant to be spent wildly as possible. Probably overspent too much and now making everyone else make up for it. Typical Phil shit.

Dude...of course it's the gacha addiction. What else would chew up all of the money he makes every week? The people who track WWE Champions showed he spent that $700 right away, and he's genuinely twisted enough at this point to expect people to keep giving him at least $300 a day even though he got so much on his birthday. It's years of unchecked greed and spending, paranoia, and being able to ban anyone who challenges him.

You mentioned Kat in the part I deleted, but showering her with gifts? He didn't even remember it was their anniversary. They are barely roommates.

Also knows that he's going to owe federal taxes and doesn't have any money to pay a lump amount, meaning that his monthly required payments will be larger, so that's less money he can spend on gacha pulls and doordash.

Honestly does it matter? You can take the surface reason of he's just greedy or look deeper and try to read between the lines for some clues of a background issue that may or may not exist. There are just times where suddenly the level of support isn't meeting his standards and he'll go into beggar overdrive and eventually he'll have a few good days in a row and he'll go back to normal overbearing levels of beggary which are just slightly less panicked versions of what he's doing now.

Don't want this to come off as mean I get and have participated in trying to figure out why Phil needs money or why is he suddenly sweating about income like a Phoenix Wright character it's just i've seen this cycle so many times. If this were a time loop I think i'm at the section of Groundhogs Day where Bill Murry does the suicide montage. At least I have Ralph's antics to entertain me while until Phil does something interesting.

I talked with Frederick with this whole situation, and what he told me is near identical to what Phil was talking about tonight. He (for now) has no interest on making a new video or being involved in any way with The Vortex. That's fine but me he is also was aware of Phil doing this for the money, but Phil didn't tell him that it was for a sub goal.

Phil asking to be part of a follow-up to that video or maybe a video or stream like that would not play out well for him he is getting desperate to keep his organic growth going.
