There was some posts on /vt/ a couple days ago from an insider in one of their discords claiming that fishman wanted to sign Lumi for months, with the whole replacing the missing manager at Cyberlive he really started pushing and after the graduation announcement he sent extremely good offers to both Lumi and Yuri to convince her to join. Including updated models, gen 1 contracts with base salary and some other things, maybe new 3d models.
I'll look for it in a bit.

If I remember correctly in her next stream she was too anxious to say anything that might be seen as mildly controversial, had a break down and deleted the stream. I didn’t see it myself, I’m just going off what was posted here. The comment I posted was from her Minecraft stream with Yuri but I think they’ve been unmodded since around the Ethan Ralph stream.

Yeah they been doing it for almost a year now I believe. They're very cute small time vtubers that have a nice chemistry. Also, they're nearing their goal of 10k subs, which means a new GGN will began production! 👀

That actually sounds interesting to me if she does go the route of edited vtuber videos and not livestreams. I haven't really watch something like that before if I recall. Seeing how she does stories and doll videos too make me think she'll make little stories with the character as well in some form.

Lumi talking PC now

Contact with Fish was made after they had already put in notice with Cyberlive, Says nothing will change with her content and ability to collab with indies, has no intention of duel streaming Youtube though she is able too, met Fishman well she was subbing in as a manager well at Cyberlive.

Edit 1: Intended to be Indie for awhile but then Fish, Confirms it was Yuri that wanted to leave first/more and she followed the cat wife, Mentions that despite trying there was discomfort at CL (Rrat away) but offers no details.

Mallow's done so that should be all for this topic.

I'm just glad Lumi seems very happy with her contract. I had worries that it was some emotional decision or that Phase Connect collabs were being held hostage.

Edit: Also, holy shit is Lumi good at singing. Never caught her karaoke before. So many Yuni emotes in chat. Wonder were those came from lol.

Yeah, Lumi has pretty much confirmed those events more or less each. I really wonder who this 'insider anon' would be. Nothing about the drama per se, and nothing about Hylo, but the rest seems to check out.

She also mentioned in a small dig, that all of her assets were paid for and owned by her. . . and that she had been paying for other talent's assets as well. If that is true, it makes the Cyberlive leaks look even more catty to me. You could definitely tell some things were personal by the way her voice tightened.

On another note, her stated reason for leaving was about how certain requirements of her were getting to be too much while in grad school. Of course, I think it is pretty clear the environment wasn't all that great as per Yuri, but I wonder also what those requirements would have been if we take it at face value.
