xXShinSekaiNoKamiXX (Roberu, Lisa, and Sumire) actually got 6th place and as a reward each got cat ears headset. I watched Sumire's POV from the third round, which was their most entertaining since they got stuck on top of the tower without any heals, scarce ammo, and drilled by Astel around every fifteen seconds. Chaos and screaming until they realised they got third that round. There was a 20 minute break after that round which they spent complaining about Astel's Mad Maggie and Sumire actually DM'd Astel via discord (check her twitter) and some twitter banters between Lisa and Astel.

Gorilla and Naraka did very well early on and the NeoPorte guy got 17 kills at the final round just losing out to Kuzuha's team by a few points. I did not know much about APEX but from what the conversation in /vt/'s VSPO threads it seems like Pakael choked extremely hard (rage quit after 5th round defeat), Niji's Yuuki Chihiro and Kurumi Noah also didn't perform as expected compared to scrims.

Noah is VSPO btw, and while they didn't play as well as their winning days, 7th Place is still very good and shows consistency in finishing high even if none of those finishes were 1st.

But yeah, there's certainly some teams closer to the bottom that you wouldn't expect to be there, though I did say scrims rarely dictate the flow of the tournament and it's easy to get swept up in it.

Ah my bad, how did I miss that one. Yeah as a group they did well but there are some rounds where Miso Soup Toast could've gotten first but according to her viewers Noah's indecision/nervousness cost them the round champion.

Surprised Hinaano's team did not break top 10. She sounded extremely upset post tournament. Nazuna from her team continued streaming but switched to Valorant. Setomiya joined Deron and Kotone for some more APEX.

There was a good week or so where the dude was insanely active and basically commented on everysinglething ever. I don't even hate the guy but it was along the lines of watching some 7 year old be too fucking hyper, trying to constantly get affection from their "super cool" older sibling that their mother forced to take them along out with their friends. Pretty sure there wasn't a Pippa stream where his name wasn't on the current chat box anywhere from 2-5 times in that duration. While Pippa didn't seem to bothered by it, the overall was just really obnoxious and noticeable to literally everyone else.
Which is why I assume people are thinking fishman or something possibly told the mods to keep gypsy people outside the walls, or at least keep him contained somewhat.

If he was doing some twitter "haha wow this girl is like this girl" type shit then I would see that as a decent reason to hard ban from one or the other. She quite clearly wants the accounts separate for various reasons even if she knows it's known and sees some familiar names and such.

Dang, after Pippa surprised us by doing a karaoke for almost 4 hours and actually singing well today she casually drops that she has an original song in the works! Any bets on what it will be about; trying to reach out to people after living as NEET all your life, a deeply nuanced take on the accomplishments and suffering of Terry A. Davis and others like him, or empty platitudes poorly translated from Japanese?

Kidding aside this has been a really good year for her. I don't want to get all sappy right now but I'm really happy that she is succeeding by doing the things that people are told not to do now a days. It kind of gives me hope that there is still a place for things like edgy humor and general not pozzed content and just brings some warmth to my cold dead heart.

Not gonna lie, this made me double-check if it's not April Fools' today, but I'm intrigued now. For some reason it's hard for me to imagine Pippa making an upbeat, energetic song, but I'd love to be wrong.
