@Ghostse shiddd this sounds really familiar for some reason....There's just no way it will be as badly put together as Picard. Which I am only hate watching at this stage to see how dumb and bad it is.
No way Obi-Wan will be as bad as Picard. Yes, we'll get the black Inquisitor who is really a good person who inspires Obi-Wan to not give up. Making her responsible for the events of the OT. The series will be about how Obi-Wan isn't actually a hero, but despite that chooses to try and do the right thing after strong diverse female shows him "the way." It will be dumb and predictable.
There's just no way it will be as badly put together as Picard. Which I am only hate watching at this stage to see how dumb and bad it is. Picard's female ancestor is a brilliant 24-year-old astronaut who may not go on a mission because she has self-doubt and depression. Picard gives her a pep talk which solves that. It's then promptly forgotten from the script. Data's creator's ancestor runs Picard over in a Tesla making him unconscious. Then the writers don't know how to deal with the fact they made him a robot and dance around it before forgetting that. Then someone goes into his mind, where he is trapped in a memory and is played by a 12-year-old. So Patrick Stewart can lay down in a bed for most of the episode. While other actors lead the "character" to realise his mum had mental illness. His dad had to deal with her shit and maybe wasn't the bad person Picard thought he was as a kid. Then Picard awakes and him and black panther Guinan try to summon Q from a genie's bottle before getting arrested by law enforcement. Where the actor who arrests them played a character from the future in Voyager and you honestly don't know if the producers and writers of the show know this. Whether they just cast the same guy, or if he's the same character. As currently that future doesn't actually exist in this time travel mess that makes no sense.
The movies had alot of those moments where the storytelling draws parallels from each other. As George puts it "It's like poetry so that they rhythm, every stanza rhymes with the last one."As weird as this sound, I finally watched the 6 movies in sequential order.
It's kind of funny seeing things come into place. Especially with Episode 1 with a high speed Pod Race and needing help from the Gungans to Episode 6 with a high speed Speeder bike chases and help with the Ewoks. Going from the Jedi at their peak to a son trying to save his father. Both Padme and Luke trying to rescue the good left in Anakin and the romance with Padme and Anakin and Leia and Han (a high power force user and a human).
Even Luke's uncle was right. In the beginning, Luke had alot of his father in him, for the worse.
The fact at the end of it all that Luke went on faith alone to bring his father back. Like Mace Windu said, Jedi are keepers of the peace, not soldiers, and Luke kept the peace. It's really beautiful.
As twisted the Jedi purge was, it allowed a fresh start with none of the burden. Also with killing Palpatine/Sidious by murder/suicide by Vader/Anakin brought in a closed loop of the Sith. Anakin did bring balance to the Force.

If you know you'll dislike it, why do you watch it?
At this point, it's more interesting making predictions how these shows are going to ruin the classic characters and see how it plays out. Picard S1 ruined Picard, Data, Riker, Troi, and 7 of 9. S2 ruined Guinan and fucking Q of all people. S3 is literally bringing everyone back (except Wil Wheaton lol get fucked faggot) to ruin them too. How can Disney top this when they ruined Luke, Leia and Han with the movies and Obi-Wan with the show? How about something like have R2D2 comes out as non-binary (lol get it?) and they confirm that xer and 3PO were lovers. Have it be revealed that Yoda was actually a shit Jedi and his FEMALE master knew he'd lead the Jedi to ruin, but no one listened to her because of "muh Jedi patriarchy" or something. They've ruined the Emperor with the comics already and made Vader a fucking joke. What is left to rape? I'm not even going to talk about The Book of Ice Cream. No way Obi-Wan will be as bad as Picard. The last video has a few that don't really work and missed some that should have been in the video, such as the twin sunset shot from ROTS and ANH. Someone should use this idea with the ST to show how unstructured they are and what a spit in the face to the series they are.The movies had alot of those moments where the storytelling draws parallels from each other. As George puts it "It's like poetry so that they rhythm, every stanza rhymes with the last one."
The prequels are great if only for the excellent behind the scenes extras on the DVDS. Hours upon hours of quality production footage covering every aspect of the filmmaking process. Meanwhile, Disney extras are just fluff pieces about equality. It's almost like you could argue they were soft reboots done right. Because honestly that's kind of what the PT was; same beats and superstructure, but different style and movements to change it up.
Oh sure, I don't like the PT as much as you guys, and I still think Clones is bad. But there was creativity there and other writers did a lot with it. I like the side stuff much more than the films themselves.
Watching the complete saga in order is kind of weird because it technically works from 1-6 but to me it's more satisfying to watch the PT after the OT, then watching them in order. It makes it more impactful after knowing what happens then seeing the ending to ROTJ tie it all up perfectly. Also the transition from the ending of ROTS to ANH is perfect too.As weird as this sound, I finally watched the 6 movies in sequential order.

The BTS documentaries for TFA are incredibly misleading, overly sentimental nostalgiafaggotry, uninformative, and some of them are downright dishonest. The BTS for TLJ is slightly better because it shows how much of a shitshow the making of that movie was but it's mostly just Rian sucking his own dick while the actors get little to no meaningful screen time. The BTS for TROS makes it obvious that nobody had any idea what the fuck they were doing while making the sequels and never understood Star Wars in the first place. They were never going to turn out to be good movies. The prequels are great if only for the excellent behind the scenes extras on the DVDS. Imagine watching 3 seasons of an hour long TV show you know is bad and you do not like for the sole purpose of ""shitting on it"". That's slightly less time than watching all of the movies sequel trilogy.Saying no way it'll be as bad, is significantly different than saying it won't be fucked up.
I stopped watching Star Trek Discovery, which is better than Picard. So why am I still watching Picard? It is an interesting question. I think I just enjoy shitting on it. Noticing all the dumb. Then I liked watching a few youtube channels that shit on it. Seeing my similar thoughts validated. As well as dumb shit I didn't even notice.
As much as I dislike Ahshoka, I'm so glad Filoni only has eyes for that orange hoe. I can't imagine what horrors Clown World would inflict on Darsha Assant.Read Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter awhile back, it’s literally the first Terminator in a Star Wars setting and it’s great.
I’d recommend it for anyone who wants a good Prequel-era thriller with a political backdrop and an 80s-style atmosphere.
It even has a gender-flipped Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor.
She would have been killed off in some completely different way than she was in canon, because the jackasses who worked on TCW didn't give a shit about continuity. Probably would have had a completely different personality too.As much as I dislike Ahshoka, I'm so glad Filoni only has eyes for that orange hoe. I was surprised that the author had both the integrity and maturity to let Maul slaughter Kyle and Sarah 2.0. I know pre-Phantom Menace stories have a status quo of Maul being a secret, but I am so used to Star Wars writers growing into their characters and not letting them go.As much as I dislike Ahshoka, I'm so glad Filoni only has eyes for that orange hoe. She would’ve become a cyborg and lived into the Clone Wars, against all odds ran into Maul, she’d survive and become a founder of the Rebellion. Twisted into a different character all together and later killed by an OC. They’d make her a mirror of Maul, a prodigal warrior cut down in their prime and all potential lost with their youth. She would have been killed off in some completely different way than she was in canon, because the jackasses who worked on TCW didn't give a shit about continuity. I enjoyed it, even as a huge Darth Maul fan and a massive fan of the first Terminator, I can say that it really stands on it’s own. Using Maul as the T-800 was fucking genius, I could hear “Burning in the Third Degree” during a few scenes.

My money would be on the writers misinterpreting the Terminator homage and make her the Sarah Connor expy instead of the guy who lost his son.Lol stop giving them ideas!
There was no body, though. They could say she was in a stasis tank under the Temple or something and have her wake up during the Sequel era without having aged. She'll be black, of course.
the reason the fanbase won't wake up is because they're gen-X embracing assholes, its like those union guys that still vote Democrat because that was what they learned to do back in their 20s, and are now too set in their ways to realize the libs hate them or they were mainly used as useless cattle.I think Star Trek 2009 alone is why JJ was hired. And Star Wars was going to get raped no matter who the director was after Disney owned it. But like I said some pages back, I wish RLM would give some real closure to SW since that was what made them so popular. Mike and Jay are actually good at writing going by their opening monologs for their reviews, so they could make more thoughtful videos on the state of Hollywood or whatever rather than leave it to talks they have during movie reviews.
Most people that ever will "wake up" have. And when RLM make excuses for nu-Trek like "they just want to make Star Trek dark and edgy to appeal to younger people; they just don't get Star Trek" or whatever. They give copes to people that don't want to see what's going on. The spergy shit that happened in the RLM thread is proof of how much people rather sperg than just say "Star Trek is left wing". I can only image how bad it is with actual normies.
