Surprised I'm not the only one. I think it was the only strategy game on the GBC. I've been using emulator sites to find a bunch of old games I played, do you remember one where you played a toy soldier or something?

Maybe at an earlier point in time, but the only thing phil wants to conserve is the gin and gacha.

You can throw a dart at Phil’s YouTube channel and find a video where he’s either mocking or insulting minorities, being a bootlicker, claiming you “just can’t make a joke these days without offending someone”, or making direct homophobic and transphobic remarks. He’s a staunch conservative through and through.

Phil’s centrist claims are pandering and/or avoiding accountability.

FFVII bears the brunt of his wrath since it was alotta peepuls introduction to the genre and also a much bigger success while OG philomena was dedicating his all gayming time to fighting games. FFVI is the scrappy and superior underdog just like he is in his own mind so he's gotta back it for life even if it's shit.. which it is.

He has a rake of old consoles (because hoarder) and spent time in the early youtoob days going to conventions and filling out his poser vidya cartridge collection at the vendor booths. Not to say he played everything back in the day of course.. just the classics like Slam City with Scottie Pippen and Make my Video: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch on Sega CD. :story:

It would be more accurate to say he skipped alot of khantent through the jump from to 2D to 3D. I think he ran exclusively with Xbox when he did drop in and ignored just about everything across PS One, PS2 and the 360 was still his default machine by the time he started recordng for youtube.

Sperging over FF6 and FF7 is bad because it made the precious subculture of gaming popular with the cool kids who hated gamers in high school, is right from the 90's "how to tell someone you're a gamer without telling them you're a gamer" playbook, like every one of his gamer hot takes and "nothing is over" Rambo of the console wars crap.

Which, is kinda ironic since Ff6 had a huge marketing campaign complete with TV commercials for "normies" (internal cringe) like FF7. Basically what gamers like Phil here who sperg over FF6 and shit on FF7 for being too popular, FF6 did but on a smaller scale.

PERSONALLY, I like 6 but I feel 4 is a better game. Plot is more focused, I like the locked "classes" over everyone can do everything with enough grinding cause of espers which evolved over time into that boring ass board system they like to use. Oddly I like the job system of 3/5 which is like an early more interesting version of espers. I'm one of those odd people who actually found the magic siphoning system of 8 fun.

I mean I like 6 but not going to nut all over the place for it like "gamers" tend to, 7 I didn't like for many reasons other than it was popular oddly really liked 7R

That Turtles game, I still to this day hate the last level...so much. That's the game phil has waxed nostalgic about and how it was made by Konami. I'm sure he'll go over again when he plays the TMNT collection coming out soon..ish?

I wouldn't even classify someone like Phil as a fence sitter, politically he seems to sit completely off the side and be contrarian just for the sake of it, you know because of his inflated ego, self-importance (like when time he claimed he never "fitted in" anywhere) and of course being a narcissist prick.

He always loves to flip flop on issues when he's getting flak or when the popular opinion at the time on some website (mostly twitter for him) is going against the grain, see the whole netflix cuties ordeal about supporting it at first and not comprehending the reddit gamestop stock market shit.

Phil confirms his bad gambling habits... then gives gambling advice... then literally says exactly what happened to him from his gambling addiction.



Also let me mention that the chatter who asked this question didn't get throw him any money and Phil pre-approved his message will be answered even before the superchat and tip came in. This segment was the most excited he has been all stream... and he's not even playing the game.

Some of Phil's paypigs must not watch his streams regularly, yet will jump to give him money when the whale call is sent. This is so ridiculous that I assumed for a while these tips were fake, but they are not.
