Maybe not her specifically, but it's the same suit. If it wasn't her in it, it was one of her coworkers (i.e. another press assistant).

I remember reading an SF story forever ago set in an empire that started to fall. The protagonist looks at a trivial piece of damaged infrastructure and laments that "When I was a boy, they fixed the little things like that."

(EDIT: I am sure @Open Window Maniac called it - it was a Foundation/Empire story. Good memory!)

I'm sure JD Vance will probably address this in the coming days.

A politician from Georgia tattling on MAGA, I've seen this play out before...

The tweet is from 2016, McLaurin is supposedly Vance's friend and roomate from Yale, you can see how they care more about the ideology than the person. He'll get a good dose of dopamine tonight.

Reading it, he's a liberal trying to rationalize why he's still a liberal. Just own it, say you were completely wrong about Trump, and every other senate candidate is just swamp fags. Problem solved, don't bitch out Vance.

That is pretty bad. The question is who is actually in that suit.

I actually had a disturbing dream last night of being at a Biden speaking engagement that was up close in an old Gymnasium, in the dream he would freeze up and bend forward over the podium and weakly say "I like ping pong balls". He kept saying this as he looked like a rubber puppet. I will be on the lookout now for some reference to ping pong balls.
lol he used the "this is fine" clip some asmr fag made on November 3, 2020 in regards to how the election was going up til that moment...

It looks like stage 3 dementia so probably under a year. Hes right around the point you start looking at nursing homes and settling finances while you still have a little juice.
They are white knuckling it for a lot of reasons past the mid terms. People talked about the possibility of a 10 year Kamala Harris presidency, at least the Clintonistas that maneuvered Harris to the presidency, but she's thoroughly unlikeable and bitchy and appears to have that sort of Joaqin Phoenix Joker pseudo bulbar inappropriate laughter thing so that looks dead, too. Depends how much these people can fortify democracy. With 3.50, 4.50, 5.50+ a gallon gasoline and 50 percent food inflation, the DNC should go down in flames, but we'll see.

The people puppeteering Biden have repeatedly said they think he's good to go for 2024. Imagine another 81 million vote special for this guy, what he'd look like in 2026 if he wasn't dead by that point. Jesus!

Right now it looks like they've spent march and april doing baby-steps and tuning up the band for COVID-19 part infinity Midterm Variant. We saw what happened in countries like Canada, the system is trying to figure out how long it can keep this shit going without rioting against them. I guess they'll keep working away on the rigging and frauding schemes this spring and summer and then turn up the heat on the Midterm Variant in August and September. What else are they supposed to do? They could keep bitching about Putin and Trump, I guess.

You forgot about this guy :

The dude straight up called them murderers.
A world without Norm MacDonald is not a world I want to live in. (:_(

I want to say that story you read was Prelude to Foundation by Isaac Asimov. I remember after the main character, Hari Seldon, arrives on the planet Trantor to meet with the emperor, another character whose name escapes me shows him around the planet and how stuff is failing apart and the galactic empire is slowly collapsing. I remember that character showing Seldon some sort of elevator than used gravity in a way and not a car. Seldon asked him why didn't they build more of these and the character says the would have, but nothing gets built anymore or something along those lines.

How much longer you guys give Joey till the meds truly won’t work or he straight up collapses on live tv?
If they've gone to the trouble to build him his own fake white house studio, they've probably got other safety nets in place too. There's almost certainly an "oh shit" button that will cut whatever broadcast they're doing, and there's likely a delay that would allow them to prevent something as bad as him collapsing from being aired. The days of George Bush puking on foreign diplomats and the film getting out are over, at least for the DNC.

It's also the point where you're more likely to see seriously troubled behavior start to emerge as symptoms, if a given patient is going to develop it. Aggression and inappropriate (sometimes sexual) behavior are some of the most difficult possibilities. Given the fact that he's long had a bad temper and we've already seen him have some anger outbursts (remember the press conference from hell where he refused to leave the podium and ran over time, rambling, a few months back?), I wouldn't be shocked if he's at risk for expressing this symptom. And given his family's history of... inappropriate sexual behavior... let's just say that could become an unpleasant work environment, depending on how his condition progresses.

The problem is that it's a stopgap. He still has to meet with foreign dignitaries and leaders. Sure, they can massage his recorded speeches, and I'm sure the White House press whores will eagerly help. But it only goes so far.
