IMO, I think a more precise term to describe what's happening is "segregation of the genders." Women are also having statistically less sex and relationships.

This is why I have a hard time sympathizing with incels. They have more agency in their situation. Physical attractiveness has always been a secondary concern to women, which is why short and bald men are still in the gene pool. Most women (rightfully) won't consider any sort of relationship with a man if he doesn't have some semblance of financial independence (notably missing from the vast majority of vocal incels). If they focused their energy towards having a career and a future (all fully within their control), more opportunities for relationships with women would open up.

If you’ve seen one incel on YouTube, you’ve seen them all. Why do a lot of incels still remember intricate details about girls that they had crushes on in middle school and high school? That’s hella creepy. I rarely think about the girls I was interested growing up. Yes, anime does a lot to a young boy. Mainly because of how oversexualized it is. Girls with faces that appear flawless and overly busty breasts can warp a man’s perception of what the average woman is supposed to look like in real life. A lot of the weird/nerdy/low market/alternative kids at my high school were super into anime, so this honestly doesn’t surprise me. There was another nerdy black incel sperg that I shared on here that had an anime obsession, but his was so bad that he had an anime girl pillow (pretty sure if you were to shine a blacklight it, it would glow in the dark).
