That's probably a big reason, but when asked Anya also said the original model's hair got in the way. It's unfortunate, the hair was my favorite thing about the original model, but you can see how it would cause problems for streams.

To be fair, it's popular in the indie scene to just change your entire design overnight. Elira's disgusting Otaku fangirling over hot anime boys and girls, as well as her genuine awe at basically everything that resembles a plot twist has made her Xenoblade Chronicles, AI: The Somnium Files, DMC5, and EarthBound playthroughs some of the most entertaining series I've watched (especially the first two).

If you don't care much for the language barrier (assuming you don't speak Japanese) then Hayama Marin and Nui Sorciere are top tier as well.

Yup. I'm still surprised that Konami have extended such permissions to her though given what P.T. is and what it actually represents (Kojima leaving the company, the cancellation of a Silent Hill game, Guillermo del Toro taking random pot shots at the company when he can etc.)

Not sure if you follow her or not, but Rinetto Kyandie is a growing asmr vtuber. She's obsessed with stage plays and many other things. Really sweet too. Anyways, she's going right now through a stalker situation. The guy has gone from following her to getting more bold and showing up closer to her house/shops/etc. - she's gone to the police, but they told her they don't see anything wrong with it, because:
a) He's a customer
b) He hasn't done anything wrong (even though she says he's told her concerning things?)
c) She's a cute girl and so it's to be expected

Pretty weird overall, she even says she might be able to beat him up so I am guessing it's a white chick. She is pretty aggressive in her tactics as well so I am surprised about Japan's police doing nothing. People noticed after Subaru doxed herself (like a boss) that she's irl way taller than her character. Here's something that seems to confirm that. At the start of this clip, Subaru grabs Choco's shoulders, and you can tell from where her hands are that she's actually quite a bit taller (and/or Choco is shorter). Just an interesting thing I noticed.

EDIT: Come to think of it, Subaru seems to like getting physical in 3D, playfully grabbing and shoving the others. Maybe her dominant height is why she feels comfortable doing that.
