It might have happened one way or another, she constantly had troubles with management. It wasn't her style of humor (Marine and Haachama stand as proof), or anything else about her, they constantly ran over plenty of her ideas and that is one way to piss off creative, firebrand types like her. Amelia is tamer in her flights close to the sun, and seems to be less angsty about the management so it seems safe for now. But I agree that the bugmen are the major culprits here. Game is fun as fuck, a nice middle ground between excessively realistic games and ridiculous shit like GTA. In fact I ended up buying the game just because of Gura playing it, so far I'm having loads of fun, thought I would be fucked starting with the crappy plane but even that one kicks ass, killed a fuckload of bombers, jets and A.A. turrets before being shot down. I would love to see someone blindly tackle the first Dead Rising, pain and all. The game is an experience in suffering and futility, especially with the way survivors pathfind. I hope they don't try to rescue them all....
Its ***slightly*** more bonkers than Ace Combat at times and plays a tiny bit more jank, it looks its budget too in comparison since indie game, but even so it still holds up in comparsion to AC imo, its different enough to warrant its existance as a love-letter to AC and gives enough handjobs to fans of it to make it endearing
