Your Stuffed Animals - hurr durr im a big grown-up i don’t have stuffed animals that’s for babies hurr durr

The oldest plush I have that I managed to save from when I was very little was a... aw hell, I'll just post it.
It's a very old plush cat, the brand was Kitty Kitty Kittens, and I think this one was named Patches. He's got some damage to him and, for whatever reason, his body is deflated (maybe he needs more stuffing?) and when you move it around, it has some kind of thing inside the head that sounds like purring.

Omg is that what they were called? I have one! Still "puurs"!

Had to climb into my closet to pull it out, also still have that black Persian "real-life" cat doll that would meow, purr, hiss, and move its head and tail and raise its haunches. Whatever that toy line was called, don't think it was called "Joy for All" it was sold as an actual toy.

>talking plush

It's not available yet!!!!!! You got my hopes up bro. There's certain fabrics that I can't stand used in plushies because they trap hair and fluff that you can't get out no matter what you try, and I have a feeling that's what they're gonna use from that pic. Unfortunate if true

I have many many figures and stuffed animals, both from when I was young to the most recent being last year. There's just something nice about having a figure or plushie of an animal or character you like... you just look over at it and it's like "oh hello" and it's like a smile starts up. IDK. I'm sentimental for things like that. I've honestly too many to list or even take pictures of, and wish I had more space to display everything instead of having them all cramped up in boxes and bins.

These plushies you guys are sharing are super cute and I genuinely love the little stories attached.

No way. No fucking way. I have the baby leopard! Still purrs and everything. I didn't recognize it at first from @Adiemus' post, but @Kari Kamiya's photo was way more obvious.
Have we discovered a Kitty-Kitty-Kittens to Kiwi pipeline?

I have so many I can't even begin to list all of them. I keep a little plush crewmate on my computer, though, because he fits between the bottom of the screen and top of the stand perfectly. He squeaks! I named him "Amogie." c:

Edit: I couldn't see all the dust on my computer stand until I posted this, pls no booly

I had a walrus from an aquarium gift shop when I was wee. He was a great shape for hugs, fit in between my neck and shoulder really well. Now I have an IKEA moose (called a STROVA iirc) because my boyfriend and I were knackered furnishing our first flat together and we saw this saggy moose doll that looked as tired ans miserable as we felt, and that made us laugh so we had to get it.
Generally I like ugly-cute things like the walrus and moose, I've never really liked excessively cute stuff, so I always liked toys that looked a bit ugly or fucked up. More relatable and realistic, I guess.

I hate what Among Us has become but that crewmate plushie is adorable.

I played a UFO machine this weekend and actually won. I got two mini Sanrio plushes, Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin. While it's the first time I can ever remember winning from one of those things, I have to say that the quality of the plushes is on par with the chances of them being licensed product. Which is to say, poor.

I got myself an anime plushie (a fumo). I know it's a knock-off, but I don't care. She's cute, and stupid.

It's gruesome, but I want to get a second so I can dissect it to learn the pattern, and then make my own.

I see what you did there. :story:

If that's a bootleg then it's pretty damn good. I actually have two real fumo plushies of Suwako and Youmu and what's really cool about the former is you can actually take her frog hat off (Pyonta, I think?). The one I'm after most is of course Flandre but considering she's the gateway 2hu character she always sells out really quickly.

I still have my first ever Build a Bear, he's a polar bear that was gifted to me a bit after I was born. I never loved him though. My favorite stuffed animal is one I got when I was two(?), she is extremely well-loved.
There's been a couple of times where we've removed some of her old stuffing, sent her through the washer and dryer (or hand-washed her), and then re-stuffed her. The first time though she was super deflated and gross (I was a messy kid) so we took out all of her stuffing before washing her twice. I actually took her to Build a Bear and got her professionally re-stuffed!

I only have a few others, just because it doesn't feel like there's much of a point in having stuffed animals I can't snuggle at night. I'm one of those people who needs to be holding something to fall asleep comfortably.
That being said, I really like Squishmallows. I want to get a couple of the ones that are pillow-shaped and actually use them as pillows. I also have plans to make a giant stuffed oarfish, they are my favorite fish and would be the perfect shape for a long accent pillow across the top of my bed.

Where did you get a Junimo plush?? I want.

eta: should have clarified, where did your husband get it?
Etsy probably has a bunch. If you're the crafty type, it would probably be really easy to knit, crochet, or sew a Junimo. Whenever I sewed little plushes, I would partially stuff them with scrap fabric to reduce waste.

A friend of mine got me a sucklet (yes that's its actual name) for my birthday a few years back, and I love how silly it looks. It even has a dog toy squeaker in it!

ItemLabel (the company that makes Sucklet and other plushes) has some other cute shit. My favorite is Moley, specifically this variation.

If you like this cow guy called Peepy, there are a bunch of fun variations! I think they're all pretty cute but my personal favorite is the corndog one.

Hey, maybe that’s what we could do with this thread, just finding each other their stuffed best friends. It might be the only good thing to ever come out of Kiwi Farms.
I have nothing better to do. I'll spend my time scouring the internet.
That being said - if anyone knows of some reptile or ocean animal plushes, preferably realistic or weird looking ones, I would be grateful forever.

Just out of curiosity, can I ask what you had against your polar bear that you never loved him? : (

Also for your wishlist.

I still have mine too, at my parents house! I loved that thing. Mine is black and white and last time I saw it, it still purred but it's fur felt like shit and also very deflated.

I love stuffed animals and I have a lot, some gifted by Mr Lonely, and some bought myself. My favorites are a Douglas brand possum, and a Ty Beanie Baby bunny I found in the clearance bin at Walgreens.

One of my most cherished childhood items is not a stuffed animal but a doll, an American Girl doll I got as birthday gift as a kid. It was a huge deal and AG has long since discontinued her. I took that doll everywhere, cut her hair, painted her nails, and so on. I bought another one I had wanted as a kid off ebay in great condition, and rewigged my old one and now they are displayed together in my home. Creepy, autistic, whatever idgf because I'm a sentimental bitch.
