The gas is still flowing through the pipelines across Europe. The oil is still being unloaded at the refineries. And €800m a day is being sent straight to Moscow.
Germany and to a lesser extent Italy are effectively funding Vladimir Putin's brutal assault on Ukraine. Shelling of innocent civilians, mass rapes, and the destruction of whole cities is being financed by European consumers and industry.
True, Germany is debating cutting off the gas. It is setting targets for winding up the payments to Russia and exploring alternative supplies that would keep the lights switched on.
And yet for now it has decided the cost to German industry would be too high. That is completely unacceptable. If the Germans don't want to make that sacrifice, it is up to them. Yet there is no reason why the rest of the world should tolerate that. The moment is surely close for sanctions to be imposed on Germany.

America has just shown everybody that if you want political independence you can't rely on the SWIFT system. Other systems were already in their nascent form (e.g. CIPS) and have just received a massive impetus to be adopted. This is the most basic two step logic: (1) SWIFT has been politicised to punish the USA's rivals. (2) SWIFT cannot be relied on if you go against the USA's wishes. What's to dispute? Do you think there can't be a rival to SWIFT? Furthermore by its very nature as a tool for exchange, a system that doesn't exclude people is going to have more value than a system with fewer participants. By cutting off people from SWIFT, the value of SWIFT as a whole becomes less than a competitor which doesn't. Again - simple two step logic.

I concede two out of three. The third video is really blurry. So far, 3 (?) people with armbands. It is certainly not a coincidence. Does that account for other dead people? If you suggest that Ukrainians shot all those people, why wouldn't they cover it before inviting film crews?

FN FNC? That's clearly an AK layout.
Front sight post is not attached to gas block, triangular folding stock rather than "para" style, you can see the opening behind the bolt because the FNC has a spring loaded dust cover but the AK leaves the charging handle slot open when the safety is off.

I suppose some civilians would have died in the skirmishes, but when a Ukrainian "Safari" declares they are going for Russian supporters and then we see dead bodies with white armbands, the conlusion seems obvious.

At this point, I don't see any reason for Russians to kill civilians in Bucha. Order through terror isn't really needed in villages and small cities because the majority of the population is mostly old people who remember the Union fondly and, if they aren't supportive of Russian troops, they aren't getting in their way.

We will never know what was truly happening there, as in the west, this will be the Russian genoside of Ukraine. In Russia, this will be considered an obvious fake
