It can be very serious and in smaller towns a lot of the apartments will be owned by the same landlord and if you got a strike against you they can refuse you anything new until it expires. This can absolutely affect someone deciding to get a larger/smaller apartment or less cunty neighbors.

tl;dr getting more noise complaints might make it so that he can't move to a place where he won't get noise complaints.

There was a stream, that I can't remember for what exactly, where he said something along the lines of him not liking Sonic because of Sega's advertising back then.

I doubt that it's because of game design as that would require him to have played some the modern sonic games to feel that way (or take a critics word for it) and, last I checked, he doesn't even acknowledge the 3D Sonic games like that.
 
I would assume Vinny dislikes Sonic because of the nuclear autism he's been exposed to online. His fanbase is full of retarded children that constantly beg him to play Sonic and Undertale and Persona. Hell, he even said he only went and saw the new movie because people were constantly asking him for a review.

I want him to play Undertale, blasting obnoxiously loud circus music and fart noises in all cutscenes and killing everyone in sight with no regards to plot relevance.

I feel like there's a line between "YouTube movie review might hold this opinion about something he talks about a lot" and "Vinny is my psychic boyfriend and I will stab anyone who disagrees with me online by finding their house and traveling there".

No shit, but it's still the same sort of thing, regardless. Assuming you know someone in any capacity online is parasocial. You assume from your watching of them that you know them as a person. I don't make the rules, this is what happens when new terms are pushed out the door and people abuse them and don't think about them thoroughly before saying them.

Vinny went on a tangent tonight about companies like netflix making a profit and it veered into him talking about his channel and how he lost viewers and he acknowledged people have opinions for him and hes not making as much money but his youtube channel has gotten bigger and hes happier now than he was before when he was "grinding" as he describes his old streams.

I feel a bit sad for Joel, i just hope he doesn't end up seeing super ghostbuster as grand dad where it overtakes everything else and its the only thing Joel is known for
