He was quite good there; but fannibals are too focused on how gay Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham's friendship was to ever discuss his character.

I have never watched more than 30 seconds of Hannibal, but given what I have seen from the show's presence on the internet, its fans were too busy writing about the two main characters touching each others' butts to actually notice any secondary characters.

(Also to keep this slightly on topic, Mads Mikkelsen was one of the few actors that didn't join in the JK Rowling pile-on, so good for him, I hope he gets to consensually touch a lot of butts)
