A portrait of 2028 under DeSantis.

Ah, how charming it is.
Assuming he wants to have some sort of office by then.
The Florida house also voted to strip disney of their special privileges. Florida man is on a role.

Ron DeSantis is just Donald Trump without the personality and trigger happy nature. Leftists are going to seethe over him once they're done with Elon Musk.

I don't think so though. Once you enter the Presidency, you are no longer working at the state level, where the establishment has far less control. You are now in the DC swamp, where people have sat for years currying favor and forming alliances. If Desantis is legit, then I expect entirely the same reception politically and media wise, that was brought out for Trump.
That's it right there. The bill went through the state house and Senate very fast at incredible hihg speed, and that's because of the support of the legislature. Donald Trump was being stonewalled at every turn by the courts and "his" party in the legislature.

Now I want Trump to become governor of Florida or New York now. It’ll be hilarious.

Its funny to me how the party that has the ardent communist base is now defending the biggest international capitalist megacorp known to man
I mean the economic ideology of Communism is secondary to communists taking control. The "workers uniting" and "seizing the means of production" is just the retard propaganda you sell to the peasants. Communists will take support from where ever it comes from so long as it help them take power, and they don't consider themselves hypocrites for doing it - anything that gets Communists closer to power is the Communistic thing to do, even if it's getting help from, and defending, giant corporations and bankers. Of course the corps and bankers giving help to communists are retards, the commies aren't going to spare them, they'll get liquidated like everyone else in the middle to upper class.

Liberals are not communists. They still love their capitalism, so they can exploit poor people in developing countries without having to worry about it in their own gated neighborhood.

No, and that explains why the non-communist part(the majority) of the democratic base loves to support this stuff. But what I said is true.

Economic liberalism is a political and economic ideology based on strong support for a market economy based on individual lines and private property in the means of production. Economic liberals tend to oppose government intervention and protectionism in the market when it inhibits free trade and open competition, but support government intervention to protect property rights and resolve market failures.

Yeah... This is a stupid convo. I'm out.

Actually I will agree with you. The communists want power to shape culture and information so having a few megacorps control everything would get the same result as having the government do everything.

Florida House just passed the DeSantis congressional map. It passed the Senate yesterday and is going to the Top Florida Man. Apparently, the Democrats were doing a sit in while screaming during the vote. Trying to find the clip.
Today's been good so far.

Edit: found them.

What does "equal rights" and "justice" have to do with one of the world's largest corporations lol.

And of course, I had a feeling the sheboons would come out for this.

thanks for quoting a wikipedia article at me when I agreed with you. kill yourself nigger.
my point was that the liberals and communists are in agreement on this but for different reasons.

The CCP owns a minimum % of every business above a certain size in China, and those businesses must have Party members on their board. They also own all the land and lease it out. "Communism" as it plays out in reality, is essentially governance by a for profit corporation that funnels all the profit to its upper management.

Yeah that's the point I was making put a lot more succinctly. If you try to think about Communism as a set of economic, social and political principles you'll be baffled by the way they gleefully discard them as soon as they can. If you realize that the only thing they value is power, and they'll gladly work hand-in-hand with the very people they claim to despise in order to achieve it, everything they do makes sense.
