Dry walling news seems a bit trivial in the circumstances, but for the contracting geeks, Phil's posted a few more photos. No sign of any insulation behind there;

And how are the mighty fallen. Was it just a year ago that they grifted $100k. Compare how things are going today.

That comes from the Amazon wishlist.

Price $12.99. He must be sitting in his truck on his way to work cracking his knuckles and muttering to himself "I used to be a contender"

Lol did they just dry wall over big gaps? I'm no expert in construction but I know quite a bit about insulation and related things, and I'm pretty sure that's not how it's done.

It looks like they put a thin veneer of bullshit over the awful drywall job, so it will probably look barely acceptable for a couple months until that shit between their irregular, weird cuts they made, obviously not based on actual measurements but just eyeballing it, but the shit is falling apart within months or even weeks.

If they were slightly competent, and actually sealed it, I could see using something like spray insulation to fill the empty spaces. That would pretty much be Afro-engineering, but it would be semi-okay. I doubt they're doing that, though.

The moment someone hangs something on the wall, it's gonna fall down.

I'm not sure the temperature of where they live but it can get pretty cold, yeah? And that looks like an attic. It's gonna freeze.

They could throw a couple of bags in there of r24 and probably make a big difference for fairly cheap

The material itself, sure. IME it won't protect the drywall boards against moisture.

Sorry, I can’t not respond about insulation!

I didn’t see any in the pics posted recently. The rooms shown are attic rooms, and there would be good reason to insulate between the joists, it does get extremely cold in Colorado and heating isn’t cheap and is only going to get dearer.
That choice is not necessarily Penny’s fault, but it’s extremely greedy / mercenary on the part of the “friend” who’s hastily papering over this property to make a fast buck. The buyer will have to rip all this out and start again to have a comfortable home.

Without any insulation, the drywall will be a cold surface in the room, and it will suffer from condensation causing damp and black mold. The green board that was there since the 60s or whenever would have mitigated that problem.

And just a comment about Rockwool for autistic reasons. it’s the best form of batt insulation and the most forgiving if you cut corners and don’t protect it properly.
However it’s not magic. If you have a continuously occupied space and installed it without a vapour barrier, it just moves the condensation problem back behind the insulation - it can’t be seen then but it will be rotting away the house structure.

There was at least a bit of insulating material - pink mineral wool - in @Prolego 's update post.

But it's not nearly enough and as you said

Precisely. I can't see Phil and his merry band of troons installing any kind of vapour barrier, not even the thinnest layer of foil, coating, plastic sheet, or anything, really. Not with the shoddy botch job they've done so far. I've never done this kind of work for living, only as a home owner who needs to fix or have something fixed every once in a while and this shit horrifies me.

I remember that Phil posted on Twitter (somewhere buried earlier in this thread) that the tranchers never even called the Sheriff because they just "knew" the Sheriff was BFF with the nefarious tire-inflating Earl.

In order to refuse to help, the Sheriff would have had to be called by Phil in the first place. That never happened. Because they were never under attack in the first place, and if the sheriff had been called the tranchers would never have been able to tell a credible and consistent story of the alleged assault/siege/holocaust.

But it plays well to airheads like Psychopomp Gecko. Who readily buy into the usual anarchist idiocy about "we would never call the cops because they're the fash". And because "Always Believe Trannies".

Honestly I find their copious firearm ownership to be one of the Tranch's least offensive qualities. Yes they very likely are irresponsible with them and we all remember that one picture that screams "gear queer" in the most literal sense. But they generally have the right idea. It's certainly a lot easier to stomach than the libs that believe cops are the Nigger Hunting Safari, yet believe only the police and military should have guns. And to add insult to injury they typically have a laundry list of rules and regulations they want enforced with the end of a policeman's gun.

“Armed right wing militia on their property killing their livestock.”

Still waiting on the autopsy results, you lying fucks.
Also, still waiting on even one single bit of photographic proof that any of the things they've said actually happened.

It's astounding that they've been under armed siege and had firefights, yet the same smartphones they use to take photos of their shitty burrito night atrocities don't seem to work when it comes to taking snaps of Earl and His Henchmen.

It is a mystery. It's almost as if it's all either part of their collective delusion, or part of their collective scam. Much like their belief that they are actually women in that regard.

Lucky for you my inside man got his hands on the official report.

Glad I could help.

Edit 'cause double posting is bad:

And the fact they were given a camera system after the first "attack" and bought drones from the grift money but still failed to produce any kind of evidence should raise questions in even the biggest trannycock-suckers.
