You could stretch the definition of queer (in the academic sense) to be inclusive of fujoshis. They're usually straight women that consume gay fics, that's very WEIRD and NOT NORMAL, not to mention fujoshi spaces are hypersexualized which runs against the patriarchal misogynistic expectations placed on girls and women! I'm sure with some tweaking we can make it a reality!

One could say the same thing about the queer teachers, they want to control how children think.

Between lurking on the more trans critical side of the internet and going back to mainstream websites it becomes really telling how much unaware people are, it's really jarring. Even though I've seen more lesbians/TERFS calling TRA's groomers than conservatives people associate the "ok, groomer" tactic with the conservatives instead. I know that the kind of information archived on here and the girl farms will never migrate outside the terf circles on tumblr.

Don't know if troon (no pronouns listed on Ravelry, the knitting site which will burn you at the stake for not being a member of the rainbow church), but appears to be a self-described "fat gay" knitter... with a definite flair for neon & mesh.

Ravelry has hosted its own tranny sideshow for a few years as Casey, the husband of the husband-&-wife team who started the site, became Cassidy.

Around this time they banned Trump voters from the site, then "Cassidy" changed the Ravelry splash page to a grid of illustrations hinting at all his preferred fetishes. Then he completely redesigned the site to "improve" accessibility for some marginalized group somewhere and the aspiring epileptics all had a meltdown bc it supposedly simultaneously caused them 5 million seizures. "Cassidy" refused to apologize, said something mean to someone, and his wife (the actual woman) banned him from interacting publicly with the community.

Incidentally, Ravelry also hosts completely insane troon-friendly knitting patterns, like crocheted packers for kids. There is a thread on knitting/Ravelry insanity somewhere if you, for some reason, care to enlighten (or punish) yourself with the specific madnesses of crafters.

When I was that age, the internet wasn't really a thing yet; we used dial up, and our parents monitored the fuck out of us because it cost like, $5 bucks an hour and tied up the phone line. Looking at his post history, this kid has a ton of electronic devices and his parents clearly aren't paying attention to what he's doing online.

Troons would have a much harder time grooming kids like this if their parents stopped buying them smart phones. It would also make it difficult for them to fry their early adolescent brains with porn. I wish "family computers" would make a comeback... set them up in the den so everyone can see what the kids are doing and kick them off after an hour.

The "gender role quiz" is crap. You can very easily get a "validating" score by strongly agreeing with stereotypically female traits and strongly disagreeing with male ones, or vise versa.

I wasn’t allowed to have a smart phone until I was in high school. Now I see elementary school kids with iphones and no restrictions on their internet browsing.
