Yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath for things to improve. I highly doubt Musk intends to be hands-on enough to change the day-to-day of how Twitter is moderated. He enjoys a bad boy image but I don’t see him sincerely going to bat for wrongthink.

Not saying verifying your identity should be mandatory, but it sure as shit would be epic if everybody that does verify gets a blue check (fuck it, I'd verify), and everyone that opts out gets a dunce hat attached to their name with all their tweets hidden behind a "shitpost warning" with a show tweet button.
