I'm not saying that them being tsundere is them trying to say no or something IRL. I have been actively been saying that these girls are just playing up the yuri and are just baiting and that often they do play certain stereotypes. Subaru is a stundere who for some reason took a bath together with Luna and felt the need to share that to her audience. Bae being tsundere. Can't even tell you how many times this girl has played up the studere role. They even wrote a whole fanfic. Haachama was a classic Tsundere towards Watame. I think you need to understand that IRL and streams doesn't go hand in hand when it comes to them shipping each other. It's just bait.

I think most of it is the fans, which is not something the livers can account for. I'm sure they make jokes, but for the most part you can watch a Sonny/Alban stream and there's very little of what I would personally describe as 'deliberate' fujo-baiting, unlike Uki/Fulgur calling each other 'Babe' or Vox's...everything.

Alban was always a breakaway hit in Noctyx because of how hard Mysta promoted him prior to debut, but even not considering Noctyx, Luca is Luxiem's #2 earner that doesn't pander and actively distances himself away from shipping.

Beyond designs, the only person who tries to actually offer the fujo BFE is Vox; and while it's clearly worked out for him, the others are making bank too and show that it isn't a necessity, or its at least a spectrum you can choose to sit on.

On the whole ship-baiting (combining the maritime metaphors there) thing, I think "baiting" is a smaller factor than just needing to fill time. The vtubers have to provide hours of entertaining banter regularly, and pretending like they're in relationships is an effective way to do that.

Dude. What kind of leap of logic is that? Yuri baiting means two people pretending there is some Yuri happening when in fact there is none. None of these girls are dating IRL therefore them acting all sweet and thirsty for each other while also calling each other waifus is clearly bait. And they show this in varying degrees from overt to just comedic skits. I think you are missing my point when I said some of them do end up acting up tropes like in some anime because they do that all the time unless you don't really watch any of the girls that I listed and have no clue what I'm talking about. It's the same way why some girls always end up being the straightman and some being the joker/prankster in some collabs. They are putting up a show for entertainment.

Kson brought up the idea of putting together something like that back in January.

Including Ichika would be great, but very unlikely since AFAIK there's no interaction between her and the others. But since I'll take any opportunity to shill for based Booba Fairy:

Honestly wish Ichika gets more recognition from the public aside from "vtuber with outlandishly massive breasts" because she's genuinely such a sweet and really talented person if you watch her streams. Watched her recent karaoke and I appreciate how she tried her best to get to every song request she got.

Totally agree, but at the same time Ichika does actively court the coomer crowd. (Hashtag translates to "follow me if you want to see big tits." Inshallah). Not that I mind. I just want to raise awareness that that's plenty of reason to like her other than her body.

ProZD could totally be successful as a vtuber if he wanted to. He's got a face for radio tbh, but with his voice and humor, I'll bet he could reach Vox levels of success. He just needs an edgy ikemen rig, and forget about it.
