𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

I wonder if the verification process will be opened up so that anyone can get a bluecheck if they really want. You know, to publicly identify the Twitter account of a particular person and fight against impersonators as it was originally intended before it transformed into an exclusive club of celebrities, politicians, and journalists.

I pose this question to thee noble kiwis, will the pedos, groomers and disgusting animal fuckers be purged off site like everyone with a sense of humor was or will twitter enter a 'wild west' phase?

Elon Musk should make Kiwi Farms integration so whenever someone with a thread on Kiwi Farms makes a tweet their account and tweet link to the Kiwi Farms thread so that readers can be better informed about who is tweeting.
Where's the winner icon when you need it but ah I guess the "agree" button will do.

He did it. The crazy autist Musk did it.

The left has already yielded they'd lose years ago. They said that without moderation and authoritarian action, the internet devolves into right wing shitposting.

They couldn't be more wrong though; the internet unmoderated is lolbert utopia. If RWers were in power you'd see a left-wing counterculture (again). The only reason it devolves into RW leans is because the left are the establishment.
The right refuses to win, whenever they have power they don't use it.
This is why I never feel bad when they lose.

It's been said but anyone who is excited about this needs to remember that one of things he's almost guaranteed to do first, is make it so your personal information is directly linked to your account. Anonymous profiles will be a thing of the past. Get ready for Facebook 2.
Makes doxing trannys easier. Frankly if you're actively using twitter in 2022 you deserve this fate.

A middle-path outcome I can see is that blue checks become easy/expected, and anons are viewed as a lower-caste account type. He also explicitly mentions bots negatively.
