I just can't believe how he always manages to wear the most unflattering clothes possible -

Sadly, to Jim’s credit, he has always managed to have the most appalling sense of “fashion” in his desperate bid to distract people from his girth. Ever since he hung up his black three-piece family tent, I’m sure it’s been a struggle realizing that women’s clothes tend to flatter their many curves and not just one homogenous curve encompassing your whole fat body.

So in the UK many people are super morbidly obese like Jim, and last time I was there shops catered massively to this and from what I've heard they haven't stopped. Summer is coming. I agree with @Oliver Onions that nothing surprises me, but I would like to see an attempt at a sundress.

On a different note. If Musk buys twatter, how will Jim tell us how happy he is with his life choices?

I cannot wait for Jim's seething response to Musk buying twitter.
Trump'll get unbanned and would come to murder Jim throug twitter interface and then will put this mortal ratio on the cover of his new country album.

Oh, I do so love the "those 45 billion could have gone to X cause", as if the money suddenly simply ceased to exist.

Jimbo, my boy, those 45 billion went to other billionaires who owned all those shares Musk purchased to make the deal. You know, the billionaires you were implicitly fine with because they were perfectly fine with twitter being a echo-chamber for the politics they agreed with? Yeah, these guys are now 45 billion dollars richer.

Why aren't they feeding and housing the homeless with that money?

What? Don’t you know that Elon Musk could have bought 40 million dollars worth of seeds and planted them to end world hunger?
As an hourly wage slave who has never considered money outside of my paychecks and occasional loans from my parents, I know that if I want food, I go buy it; so why can’t he just go buy food for the entire world? It’s just not fair!!

It's always good to be reminded Jim is not only a massive cunt but also incredibly bad at his job.

Nothing in the JQ conveyed this is what Sonic Origins is, he makes it out to be just another ROM collection with slightly nicer graphics and some ancillary bullshit to justify pre-order bonuses.
Yeah anyone who calls it fucking slapping ROMs on a disc is a fucking mong who isn't doing their job

I sincerely doubt that amount would end homelessness and hunger since markets would just raise prices due to the influx of money and the poor, particularly in third world countries would just keep demanding more gibs.
Oh, it gets a lot better than that.

I have a relative who volunteers doing admin work at an organization that helps clothe and feed homeless people in our area. According to her, simply giving money to people isn't likely to improve their standards of living in any meaningful way because poor people are often poor for a reason. Said reason is more often than not not their fault, since being poor correlates very tightly with poor education, broken families and a lack of opportunities in life, but it's still a reason. It's still a cause that needs to be addressed, and idiots like Jim never think about it.

Give a homeless man 10 grand, no questions asked, and you'll likely see it all being spent in a week on drugs, schemes, or frivolous things. Even if he wanted to get out of the streets ten thousand dollars is just not enough to get someone to rebuild their life. Likewise, give a poor family 10 grand, and while some of these families will have the foresight to use that money to pay off debts or to apply them to savings (or much more rarely investments), in the vast majority of cases you'll see them buying TVs, computers, phones, or other material comforts that don't make them any less poor. And sure, 10 grand would house a family in San Francisco for 3 months... and then what? Back to the streets or the ghetto with them. Feeding and housing people helps them at the moment, but they're bandaids that don't address the actual problem. And so, once the money runs out they're shit out of luck again.

Long story short, in order to actually help people you can't just give them the fish. You have to teach them how to fish. It takes a lot of money, time and effort to uplift even just one person out of poverty, which is why the most successful programs run for decades, helping people from childhood to adulthood, usually with education and opportunities instead of just monetary handouts. And even that isn't foolproof, some people are just unlucky, or incompetent, or have their entire lives ruined by a single bad decision (scams are a very common source of debt, for example).

It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars to meaningfully change someone's life for the better in a way that will last longer than the money you spent on them. You have to invest in people to make it work.

But hey, it's too much to expect James "Overpriced Plastic is my Passion" Sterling to understand investments.

1. Scream "genocide" over this to Jewish people who survived the holocaust, or even to Ukranians right now and see their reaction

2. I can't load the bill mentioned as the website just times out but I've read through that article on thehill.com and I cannot find anything about making being trans a crime. It says the bill supports conversion therapy but this has always been optional, not mandatory for trans people. Which part of the bill actually makes it a crime? I've also googled the news sites for "missouri" and "trans" but only found the above article and one more on an even more left-leaning site but it still doesn't mention criminalising trans-ness, though it does say the bill will make it easier to sue doctors for malpractice if they perform things like sex change operations without proper psychological diagnosis beforehand.

ETA: it's not the bill they say supports conversion therapy, it's one single psychologist who testified in support of the bill

It's so stupid too. The only way this could be a genocide is cultural, which doesn't make any of the public give a fuck and certainly doesn't apply to "cultures" you have to radically alter your body to buy into.

It's one thing to force a culture, where those born into it are distinct from others due to their unique languages, music, clothing, lifestyles, architecture, ways of thinking, religion, etc, to disappear, it's another to tell crazy people they can't chop their balls off because it is provably dangerous and has no efficacy.

It's also a tacit admission that this whole thing is recruitment.

How much of your $100k+ annual salary are you using to make the world a better place Jim, and how much of it do you waste on plastic tat and gaudy Hot Topic outfits to fuel your arrested development?

No Jim, it couldn't: if throwing money at any of those problems could help, they would have been solved by the mid 1800s when we set about addressing them. Homelessness is a mental health issue, not a financial one; if you give them homes they still freak out, still seek to obliterate themselves with drugs, run out of money, and end right up back where they started. Hunger is an overpopulation problem in a country too dumb to farm properly: giving them yet more free stuff is the opposite of helping. Charitably, $44 thousand million could conceivably buy and install a lot of fire doors, I suppose, though I'm not sure if it would save 2 million lives+ in the first year? It wouldn't pay for more than 1/3 of the annual NHS bill, though, which is possibly what you were getting at, Freeloader.

As for a Top 1%er complaining about a Top 0.0001%er, well, that's just to be expected from YouTube Communism.
