To anyone who is licking Musk's balls for making troons mad (as if that's something hard to accomplish)View attachment 3216876
I do not buy it. Thiel and Musk are close, they may be billionares, but I just do not buy they are associated with the deep state, or the wef etc.

What I do believe is that they have God complexes, and want to be the saviors of mankind. I just happen to agree with their worldview, well Thiel's anyway. I have no idea what Musk believes.

"Just bulid your own site bro"
"Just bulid your own servers bro"
"Just bulid your own ips bro"
"Just bulid your own currency bro"

Fuck let's buy Twitter

"That's not what I meant bro"
That's what I'm finding hilarious about this situation. They got so smug about nerfing every attempt at building a competitor, and then somebody with a bunch of fuck you money just slaps them upside the head by buying Twitter itself.

Every single person who thinks billionaires shouldn't exist, will only do so unless they became one. Prove me wrong.

Also, Musk is a faggot and I trust this move about as far as I can throw a tesla.
a lot of socialist rich people think only the people richer than them should be taxed. "oh millionaris aren't the probelm its those with 50 million or more."

Thiel and Musk are Paypal Co-founder
I wont be surprised if they share the same goal

Jesus Christ. Not "speech should be free", but WE should be the ones controlling it. Curtailment of speech is totally cool as long as I'M the one who's deciding what's allowable.
Actual dissidents have been making this point for years but now it's all coming out in the wash. The bugman archetype isn't new but there are more of them now and they can easily communicate with each other. The bugman is weak and powerless on his own, so he crawls to the nearest authority figure and begs for a few crumbs of limited power for himself; just enough to fuck around with his neighbor's life and livelihood.

I miss the days when there was basically no money to be made in platforms that allowed people to talk online, so every one of them was hosted by somebody personally dedicated to that platform and its users.
God, me too,

One of the worst byproducts of social media platforms, IMO, is massive companies becoming users with accounts rather than just being limited to their own sanitized, corporate websites on their own servers.

The problem with saying “hate speech is unacceptable” is that it’s virtually impossible to legally define what constitutes hate speech.

For far too long it’s been defined as something the hearer finds hateful, regardless of the speaker’s motivations or intent.

This gives the hearer de facto control over the speaker’s speech (“I find what you’re saying to be unpleasant, therefore I am offended, therefore it is hate speech”).

The right to Freedom of Speech has far too long been abraded by this ass-backwards approach that places the hearer’s rights above the speaker’s.

I for one welcome Twitter’s new overlord, and eagerly look forward to the destruction of the ’tyranny of the weak’ and it’s chilling effect on public discourse.
