They tried so, so hard to make it seem like taking 18 months to get jobs back to 90% of where they were in March 2020 meant the economy was roaring, and then this. Two quarters of negative growth means a recession, or at least did before they change the definition.

I await Joepedo whispering to me today to explain how we need to spend spend spend.

"Hey, you know that money you don't have because I forced jobs to fire you for not taking the jab, raised gas prices, and caused supermarkets to have bare shelves? Yea, you should use that to help the economy now"

They're already shifting away from all the "free gibs", "Defund the pigs", "pro-woke" shit in the primaries in my state. They're running on a DNC version of a Bill Maher/never trumper hybrid: "We aren't about being politically correct. We're just common sense democrats! Hate how things are right now? Us too; let's work together to fix this!"

Nah fuck that, nuke em off the face of the Earth, Vlad.

Doubtful. It'd be like saying Rachel Maddow would have wreak havoc on the GOP.

This man lives off copium.
Scammer is going to scam you big time and this is why bill has terminal trump derangement syndrome

Oh, and now he's about to ask Congress for $33 billion, yes, billion, in EMERGENCY!!! aid to Ukraine.
“What I want to make clear to the Congress and the American people is this: the cost of failing to stand up to violent aggression in Europe has always been higher than the cost of standing firm against such attacks,” Biden added.
"Sure, a loaf of bread might be $500 right now, but it's a small price to pay for OUR DEMOCRACY™️!" *sigh*

The absolutely drastic irony of this is that they knowingly tanked the economy by giving the leadership position to a corrupt dementia patient in order to avoid more mean tweets.

Elon now owns Twitter, which mean EVERYONE is now exposed to even meaner tweets, and the nation is FUBAR.

I would expect nothing less from Democrats who think they're smarter than everyone else

We should have cut all ties at this point and not fund Ukraine. It’s a money sink and the only thing the nonstop money supply is doing is adding body count numbers and causing more economic harm across the globe.

I know peeps be like “but this will ruin the Russian war machine and their economy!!” but crippling our economy just so Russia, a nuclear power who will always have that edge, gets hamstrung slightly against a non-NATO country? What a joke.

What a big scam. Nobody really knows where all of this equipment is going from one of the most corrupt nations on earth to another one of the most corrupt nations on earth. Its either getting blown up by Russians, captured by Russians, captured by terrorists or sold on the black market. Sending 55 billion dollars more to Ukraine after 20 billion has been blown up, captured or flipped is worse than taking 55 billion dollars and lighting it on fire. The MIC congress of course will almost unanimously approve of this even though this aspect of "emergency spending" to Ukraine alone costs more than twice as much money than a proposed 25 billion dollar border wall somebody was elected to be president to build.

Is this the Denial or Bargaining stage?

As anyone who's been in or near Louisiana this past decade will attest to, there are few things worse than being called "resilient." It's a compliment, sure, but what it translates to is "you're so strong, you don't need our help! You've got this!" This isn't the kind of compliment you want to hear. This is the kind of compliment that's meant to convince people (and/or the speaker) that you're not worth helping.
WaPo is already on it.

"Consumer spending is up!" Yeah, and everyone in Zimbabwe is technically a millionaire.
Ah, yes, the Omicron wave of the virus, which... Did it even do anything politically? I mean, aside from making the Biden administration upset? I can't remember any new lockdowns as a result of it.
