Manly female. Look at how she spells Charlie. Such a girly way to spell it. I don't think a man would pick such a masculine name, even spelled like that.
Correct. "They" are in fact, Non-binary.

Here's a fun description from some geek convention in 2016:

Charley is a 2nd generation polygeek science student from London. They are also the LGBT+ rep on the NUS disabled students committee and a member of Stonewall's Trans Advisory Group. When not studying or being a Whedonverse / Dr Who / Outlander / Discworld / Divergent / Star Wars / LOTR / LARP / etc. geek they can mostly be found doing student politics, singing and attempting to get through NaNoWriMo.

A female fandom nerd who decided they were non-binary? Way to shatter those stereotypes.

Whinge and whine until things are changed then still aren't happy. How nice of them to consult the trannie's parents, were the other parents consulted to see if the arrangement was ok with their kids?

So when reports come in of voyeurism/sexual assaults etc what's going to be the school's stand on that?

Thank God my daughter isn't of school age any longer.

expecting the usual autistic sticker from the usual.

It cannot be as dumb as that. I don't have a uni education, so I might not understand. But they must have a better argument. The question of how you can surgically alter your sex must be based on something. Anything! "Trans women are women" ...that is what they believe.
I hate being dumb.
You shouldn't ever feel dumb for not having a uni education. Someone could have good study habits but have no damn common sense and that is the most ignorant and "dumb" person you will ever come across.

Also, depending on the location and major, you're probably not missing out on much anyway. My undergrad was in the STEM field at a very STEM focused institution and we still had critical race theory brainrot peddled in the lower division. As another kiwi said, you have a good head on your shoulders because you're here. Lots of folk seem to have sacrificed brain cells for the sake of some misguided belief in social justice.

TL;DR none of us are dumb because their arguments are always circular/begging the question.

View attachment 3227435 This is the biggest L to all that is involved. One that a straight woman felt the need to transition. Two, she thought that it’s win that she had to such a thing. Three, what is the problem with straight men that women want to become gay men. Four, the gay guy should just mind his business.
Na man the gay guy was totally in the right to tell that freaky Aiden off.

Genuine question...is it a feminine male or a manly female?
I would say manly female.
So lets say for example my daughter felt uncomfortable sharing a toilet with a boy or changing and showering with a boy she would be forced into sensitivity training and will be forced to accept how evil.

Fucking hell.
If it's true (IF), i think the mom has reasons to be concerned.
I also think she has can raise her concern without revealing her power level is she just remark that it's a huge lie that there's a way to avoid going through puberty... there's not, unless you have a rare and debilitating hormonal disorder. You won't stay a child, you will grow whatever you do.

I think she could talk to the others teachers/headmistress by saying that it's weird and inappropriate thing to promise to a child ("even trans kids go through puberty eventually") , that puberty blockers have side-effects and that not everybody can even take them... do a little bit of research on several blockers (not just Lupron) so that she can argue.
She would need to be sneaky and have a good poker face, but I think she should also try and identify the Troon saying that to her child. And maybe gently but firmly told them to stay out of her child's business ...

The advice she has been given on ovarit are quite good

Yes, I was hoping for sanity’s sake that it was fake, but the woman’s reactions in the comments (wanting to avoid confrontation, being reluctant to speak out and raise hell because she didn’t want to get a reputation as a “pushy parent”) are (unfortunately) pretty realistic for female socialization, so I think it’s real.

Even if it wasn’t, it’s happened before. Someone linked this news story in the comments from 2019:

After the teacher saw the boy use the staff bathroom, rather than the boys bathroom, the teacher pulled the 8-year-old student aside assuming the boy felt uncomfortable using the boys bathroom because he was transgender. The parents of the boy and Nellie Muir Elementary School staff made prior arrangements to allow the boy to use the staff bathroom because of a digestive-related medical condition.

In April 2018, the teacher began developing a lesson plan to help the boy understand what it meant to be transgender, which included watching episodes of the reality show "I Am Jazz," and other reading and discussion. The teacher didn't notify the parents or have authorization from the school district to do so.

That only made the local Oregon news, and even then only because the parents found out and sued the district. How many other times has it happened? Why isn't it being reported? Why do parents have to rely on idiots like LibsofTikTok to get an inkling of this stuff?

Honestly the only problem with the so-called “grooming panic” is that parents aren’t panicking enough.
