Malenia doesn't really care about Phil's strat. He very much relies on facetanking and building stagger damage rather than actually dodging anything. The healing doesn't matter since she would eviscerate Phil anyway.


For comparison, I was watching Dark Dave's restream and for some reason people started talking about Shirogane Noel's attempts against this boss.

While it isn't shown here, Noel was half Phil's level, was using a sub-optimal roleplay in-character build with a giant 2H mace, and was streaming for 10 hours before finally downing her. She puts Phil to absolute shame considering he boredquit DESPITE HAVING 2.5X HIS NORMAL VIEWERBASE.

Ignoring the absurdity of this lazy fat fuck fighting a seasoned demigod that would make mincemeat out of any real world person, living or dead, the fact that he doesn't understand inertia of all things is...kinda jarring. It's an achievement in ignorance.

Well Noel employed the forbidden art of learning how to dodge through Waterfowl, whereas DSP just fucking stood there and ate the entire attack like 10 times in a row. He's the only person I've seen not get melted by it in 2-3 hits. He can take like 7 or 8 slices and live and still bitches. If he manages to pull himself off his phone he'll probably be checking videos on how to roll through it for the next couple days.

I know Phil is financially illiterate, but do you guys think he genuinely doesn't understand that people can't give him hundreds of dollars as SuperThanks and still have the usual amount of money to give as tips?

Or does he delude himself into thinking that there are hundreds of people who have started giving him money through SuperThanks, instead or the obvious truth that it's just the old whales with sock accounts?

As usual with Phil, the question isn't whether he's wrong or not, but in what way he's wrong.

I think part of is paranoia where he thinks that if he had no detractors people would throw even more money at him than they do now (not realizing that people ridiculing him is the only reason there's any interest in him at all).

But the main part is that because he's stupid/spoiled/drunk/pick a reason, he truly doesn't get that making $130,000 a year for streaming games in the no-effort way he doesn't isn't logical. 99.99% of the world is amazed he makes as much as he does, while for some reason Phil thinks he always deserves MORE MORE MORE.

There's also some sort of massive lack of common sense where he doesn't get that if he asks for superthanks there will be fewer tips, or if he begs for money on his birthday he'll get less the rest of the week. That's just your basic DSP stupidity that led him to massive debt and bankruptcy in the first place.

Phil just went from 323 viewers to just 23 in a second. Literally a second. And no, it's not because he ended the stream, or there would be 0 viewers showing.
Also, the view count kept fluctuating between 20 and 26 after that...

Here's a video that shows two restreams (@Piece of Peace and DDM @PutridElephant ). I don't know too much about this view count from Youtube, but I think it's pretty suspicious that he dropped exactly 300 viewers, which is the suspected amount of viewbots.

BTW STILL has the swords in the wrong hands and still not using magic with an int build. I think if he knew he had one of the few things that make Mel kinda easy (he has at least 2 of them) he'd still fuck it up.

Does anyone else get the sense that we're approaching the end? Yeah yeah I know, "the end is nigh" is a meme on here, but I genuinely get the sense that it's 1-2 whales desperately trying to fill the void left by so many banned dolphins and whales that aren't as prominent anymore (Jaxx, Slayer, Rahb, etc).

It is nearing the end for me, because DSP has successfully walled himself off from the outside world, banning any mentions outside a chill positive fun on his streams. Nothing worth watching has happened since the original WWE champs leaks. Even with the bank leaks, he just BANNED BANNED BANNED, said its nonsense, and never addressed it really.

DSP will be streaming reaction videos and "Phils day off" podcasts until the day he dies, raking in over 100k/year from his small group of whales.

Yo that really is weird, and you got from multiple restreams nice. By the way, that small number towards the top left was my own stream viewer count. I didn't do anything after DSP ended, just played outro music and turned off the stream five minutes later. You see how my viewer number slowly drops as people duck out?

Looking at it again, did he immediately terminate his own stream after clocking out? Not sure how much that would influence it, but over 300 viewers hanging after he leaves is suspicious in any case imo

Maybe it's nothing and Youtube is acting funky (as the viewer count seemingly didn't update for about a minute) but watch the viewer number jump from 323 to 24.
Generally it dropped very fast after his last Malenia attempt but not hundreds at a time.

As usual with Phil, the question isn't whether he's wrong or not, but in what way he's wrong.

I think it's a bit of both. He thought that having 2 million channel views a month meant that he had 2 million viewers and thought that 200 000 a month on patreon was a normal ask. For context of that was him saying "if 10 percent of 2 million gave a dollar a month, I'd never have to worry about youtube". I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks that each view he gets is a unique viewer and not a buch of dents replaying the videos in the vain hope of him getting .001 cents from them.

But Phil has often shown that he is aware of the reality of things, his many comments about how he's stuck begging "paycheck to paycheck" indicate this. However I think that he's trying to convince himself that it isn't him who's wrong, it's everyone else.

Phil again confirming that he hides that tip for possibly hours before reading it out. But he also then wants to play victim and will pretend that he didn't just read it out so he can make it sound like he hasn't been tipped in hours. Unjustifiable sleaze.

I'd love for someone to access his Paypal if only to see when and how OMM actually tips.

Before the malenia fight it was obvious he read guides and watched videos but he was so adamant about portraying that this was an area he had never seen and the boss was fresh and mot spoiled for him.

I will give some examples.

1) When he was approaching the point of grace before malenia he was like "that's a boss room there" and later after entering the fog wall he named Malenia specifically before it showed her on the screen.

2) during fighting her he was like "I wonder if it's the same in phase two ...err ..I mean obviously this would be a 2 phase fight"

3) for most bosses Phil has rushed in and tried to spam jump attack but he started this fight off, and every attempt, keeping a lot of distance which a lot of guides suggest doing this to avoid taking damage.

He has admitted to watching streamers and to seeing guides. Why, for this one, is he acting like he has seen nothing on her?

Also he is so fucking overlevelled. I'm honestly surprised he just doesn't go bleed with rivers of blood and just demolish her.

As a side note he thinks he has less than 9 hours of gameplay (he said 2 or 3 more streams to beat it) yet he hasnt beaten Malenia, hasn't done crumbling farum azula, and still needs to do Lyndell again after.

Crumbling forum azula alone will probably take him that long assuming he fights all bosses. Then 2 more bosses at Lyndell. At his pace he is looking at 20 more streams.

Next stream he'll have a miraculous idea.

He will know how to properly space the boss know so he can know how to dodge her waterfowl move. Akin to how he came back from break and knew how to space out Guardian Rape in Sekiro. There was a part during the Malenia fight where he got really giddy because he thought he found a way to get her to not do the move like he just figured out a cheat code.

This nonsense of changing builds is hilarious because it doesn't matter how you want to dress it with stats and different weapons to dual wield, he's going to jump attack everything.

This has probably tossed around here on this forum but my theory on why he stalls in this game.
First, it to get to the boss at the last 40ish min of his stream so he doesn't have to stream himself failing at it for to long.
Second, it keeps the most viewers for him because people are waiting on that specific fight so even if people leave they'll comeback to see if he's done it.
Third, it gives him time after stream to "strategize" so when he comes back next stream he'll look like an alpha chad defeating easily.
Lastly, it compels his wheelchairs and trolls to atleast contribute to guide him (even though he's know's what he's doing).
