Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Galen Erso built in the defect, therefore he is the one most responsible.
Bevel Lemelisk* because he had ADHD
It really didn't feel like a weakness, because you do need to have an exhaust port for a really big gun so that the station doesn't end up cooking itself.

Considering that you needed to use the Force to even make the shot, combined with the fact that most of the Jedi were dead, they really didn't expect that anyone could make that impossible shot. Luke being able to make that shot was a full-blown miracle; that was the point of the first movie, that it would have been impossible without relying on a power that was beyond the material world.

Late to the party, but a meme concerning the PRC pandering and Boyega being a whiny bitch.

Boyega might be a whinny bitch but I do feel for him somewhat. The guy had to audition 9 times IIRC to be in TFA, was told by JJ that he was gonna be the new star of Star Wars, and had the image of him holding Anakin's lightsaber all over the marketing, just to be used a bait and switch to hide the fact that the real Jedi of the movie was actually Rey then thrown in the garbage after he stopped being useful to the story.

What I don't understand is how he continued to simp for JJ afterwards.

You can tell that he's phoning it in by the time Plan IX rolled around. Man's not happy on how he was treated.

In fact, wasn't there news that none of the leads of Disney Wars wanted to return?

Back in March Daisy said something about being ready to return to Star Wars, but unless they do a Rey show I'm not sure how that would work. It seems like Disney's moved on from the sequels.

I'm going to go ahead and say Mike Zeroh was wrong about Rachel Weisz becoming the new Rey in a streaming series since it's been a couple months and nothing's actually happened. Dude had such a good track record before that, though.

Again, I don't put any faith in rumors until checks are signed. It costs Disney nothing to feel out Rachel Wiesz about doing a streaming series. There is lots of groups set to wargame things that will never come to fruition, so I believe there was a meeting at Disney about a streaming service, they wanted Rachel Weisz for Rey and they spoke to her agent a didn't get a no.

I believe he was a long time Star Wars fan so what happened to him was a gut punch to his inner fan.

JJ gave him his entry into Star Wars so he’ll always have gratitude towards JJ.

But I couldn’t imagine being turned into a fucking one note character that just screams “Rey!” all the time.

If there was an actor that deserves a second shot in Star Wars, it would be Boyega.

What a position; to be in place that could have led you to be the next Kyle Katarn, only to be turned into a laughable #2 that has less dignity than Jar-Jar Binks.

Literally; Jar-Jar hit it big and became a general, a politician, and a bigshot in Republic/Naboo politics. Finn went from accompanying the Supreme Leader's #1 guy on the battlefield, to being Rey's second banana and the comic relief.

I'm pretty sure he was much further down the line than Second, cause i really doubt Kylo was Rey's first banana.

The character who says this looks exactly how you’d expect them to.

This whole character's story arc is that she hero worships or was in love with a rebel heroine, and that she carries around her mixtape everywhere and that she enjoys going to space blockbuster. That's it. The whole thing was a lukewarm tie-in for a wet fart video game that didn't go anywhere and that even ended on a sour note for disney drones because the main character turned out to be an "evil" bisexual.
Snap is played by JJ's fat best friend that he puts in everything he makes. I guess he tried making his death dramatic but nobody knew who he was or gave a shit about him in the first place.
Don't forget JJ's other fuckbuddy who was only added to the film to give one of the dumbest lines imaginable which even Filoni is now trying to justify.

By the way, not that anybody gives a crap, but Soy Wars Celebration is almost here!
Only soy wars-related things I've seen trending on Facebook are posts about Hayden and a Make a Wish Foundation video for disney's star wars park.
There's no new films so the hype is considerably more dead than it's been in a long time. The interest in the franchise has been slowly fading as a whole (The Mandalorian notwithstanding) since the 4 year run of movies ended and most people realized Disney had no idea what they were doing.
Pretty much. Even Mando hype is nowhere near as big as the chatter for the sequels and even then all people care about from that shit is Baby Yeed whose entire character is now null and void due to backtracking.
Surprisingly Kelly Marie Tran is going to be there which blows my mind considering how hard she got shat on by being in the awful Disney Trilogy in the first place. It's even sadder that her meet and greet costs way less ($80) than it does to meet Ewan MacGregor ($300), Ian MacDiarmid ($155), and even Carl Weathers ($110) and fuckin Anthony Daniels ($140).
Probably some sort of attempt to own the haters or she really needs the money. All she really had going for her recently was Croods and Raya and the Last Dragon, and the latter wasn't exactly a big boost for her career.
For something funny here's an Ahsoka-simp on STC trying to rationalize why Ahsoka's canon breaking existence and overuse isn't actually a bad thing:

Filonifags will never learn
A mixture of waifufags, battered housewives desperate for a messiah to "save" the franchise and the usual nostalgia kiddies desperate to relive their childhoods to forget the fact that their parents are dying/dead, aging exists or simply that they can no longer go into McDonald's kiddie area.

So I'm playing Jedi Academy for the first time and currently on "Meet Contact - Zonju V."
I gotta say the speeder bike controls are THE WORST speeder bike controls in the franchise!
Even worse than the ones from the original Battlefront games.
I'd even go as for as they are comically bad (I couldn't stop laughing at the absurdity).
But, the cherry on top is the enemy AI on the same speeder bikes.
They are retarded.
They are more likely to kill themselves rather than die by your hand, let alone makes Stormtroopers elite marksman in comparison in their efforts to kill you.
On the positive, it's funny to see the slow-mo cam kick in to watch one of these idiots randomly blow up behind you.
And cutting off the front of their bikes like Luke did in ROTJ never gets old.

Nicolas Cage praised Hayden’s acting in the prequels.

Been saying this for years. Hayden really does not get the credit he deserves. Hayden really sells anguished rage-the scene where his mother dies, and the scene where he looks across the Coruscanti skyline at Padme-really sold me on him.

At one point there were plans for a proper sequel to Jedi Knight 2, taking place after the events of Jedi Academy.

This is a list of cancelled games from the book on Lucasarts, called Rogue Leader. It seems like they hadn't landed on a title yet, there are a couple listed with the same logo (the crossed Jedi Outcast swords).
O what might have been!

Episode VII: Shadows of the Sith seems interesting.
Was LucasArts planning to make a video game adaptation of George Lucas' script for the proposed sequel trilogy?
I'm surprised Lucas didn't go for it. I could picture Lucas sitting there thinking "It'd be a shame to let these ideas go to waste and not do anything with them."
I certainly would have traded what we got to see what that fully realized project would have been.

It's odd that Star Wars takes place millions or billions of light years away and maybe even millions of years ago, and yet there's sapient ape-like beings just like Homo sapiens arising in that galaxy - exactly like the ones that would appear far away in the far future.

Shadows of the Sith was a game pitched by Dark Horse writer (and later Force Unleashed creator) Hayden Blackman, that wasn't based on any treatments by George, but what is in fact an EU game that was set post-NJO, that would've starred a young Ben Skywalker facing off with a newly-turned Sith version of Jacen Solo.

And this was pitched in 2003. Which lends credence to the idea that quite a few different people from different divisions at LFL were keen on the idea of Jacen going dark (instead of being solely pushed by Troy Denning, as so many NJO purists mistakenly believe).
