As much as I visibly cringe when people devolve conversation into "da jooz", I unironically agree that you should be able to make ANY factual statement (such as x is y religion) without being sent to the shadow realm
Problem is, it is the jews.As much as I visibly cringe when people devolve conversation into "da jooz", I unironically agree that you should be able to make ANY factual statement (such as x is y religion) without being sent to the shadow realm
Disagree entirely. The SA model was shit, and the first aberrant and cancerous example of how moderation at all was a bad idea. The best of the Internet was when it was nearly entirely text and the best forum of all time was Usenet, which was literally impossible to moderate, although moderated newsgroups did exist, and the rare surviving newsgroup is generally moderated.you can blame social media which obviously has a role in this but i'm speaking specifically to how communities self-moderate, back in the something awful days of the internet you HAD to be extremely hands-on and aggressive as a moderation team because there wasn't really any sort of established collective understanding of how people acted on the internet.
What did mombot do? I've seen her mentioned a few times.
She and a few others also kept an active dossier of proven and convicted sex pests, abusers and nonces. They hid in the smokescreens of their own moral authority. I can't recall if any managed to actually harm kids but a few got caught getting very close. They were overwhelmingly Resetera/antiGG/woke and seethed the information was publicly available in a convenient package. It's a bit of a story, she successfully baited some gamerghazi types into making complete asses of themselves. @Jaimas can give you all/most of the details.
i don’t expect them to leave unless Twitter crackdowns on coomer shit. They truly lose when the degeneracy is banned. The blue checkmarks will stay because they’ve made the mark of the certified retard their whole entire being and can’t grift without it.This entire shitshow is over Elon wanting free speech? And you see wokeflakes going on about moving to Tumblr (no porn and nightmare fuel nudes allowed) or mastodon (just as pedo/zoo enabling as Twitter, only filled to the brim with Republicans and transphobes, and other enemies of THE WOKE, and scant moderation). They expect these platforms to immediately bow to their wishes and expel the red meanies? Tumblr will, but won't bring back the exhibitionism anytime soon, and Mastodon sincerely gives zero fucks about who uses their services, and won't be changing anytime soon.
It's hilarious they throw a fit over this, but not the rampant pedo problem they have and enable. Priorities!
The world's richest jannie is at risk of being shit-canned! What is the world coming to when a diversity hire can't make $17 million a year to silence Americans for bad think?

I almost think the instabans for shit like that speak for themselves. It's just one of those res ipsa loquitur deals. As much as I visibly cringe when people devolve conversation into "da jooz", I unironically agree that you should be able to make ANY factual statement (such as x is y religion) without being sent to the shadow realm

She basically exploited the natural hate Anti-GGers have towards one another in the funniest goddamn way. It's a bit of a story, she successfully baited some gamerghazi types into making complete asses of themselves. @Jaimas can give you all/most of the details.
You don't get any major authority or money by legitimate or "good" means anymore. It's been that way for a long time. If Musk was any kind of actual threat to Twitter's agenda, which again is extremely interwoven with international government and corporate interests, he wouldn't be allowed to "buy it." This wouldn't happen. He'd have no major presence period, he'd be like Notch where he's a rich guy kicked to the curb of obscurity. It's not even difficult to see it: consider the fact the same outlets cheering for Musk are owned and managed by the same groups that own and manage the outlets condemning him. That's just about the definition of controlled opposition.Read his wikipedia page about how he amassed his fortune. He bought the company because he out-maneuvered their no stock owning board by making the big sum offer that if they refused they would get sued/go to jail over. I mean you can be skeptical of Musk, but the "everything good that happens is a conspiracy" stuff is so tired. He got tired of Twitter's bullshit and had enough money to fuck their shit up. It's that simple really.
