Musk already unbanned Mombot, one of the biggest pro gamergate shitposters, so this is a sign that John's not going to be able snap his fingers and get the banhammer dropped on anyone that calls him a man anymore.

Which is that Wu only got this appearance because of her "backchanneling." Bloomberg TV's staff includes IRL friends of her and Frank (none more so than Emily Chang), and that's how this embarrassing nobody got featured.

But let me dig in the knife, if only to amuse @AnOminous, with Bribri's suffering: There is a very specific reason that for Brianna, this shit is personal, and while the loss of power is big, the far bigger part is the one you're never going to see Bribri mention - that she is a living embodiment of why Elon bought the fucking platform. From her active attempts to make Twitter ever more censorious, to her actively doing every single fucking thing she complained about her critics doing, and more, to her insistence that we bring in private "fact checkers" and third-party agencies to oversee everything we do on the platform for "safety," while openly violating Twitter policy in secret, Wu is a giant piece of shit and represents every problem the platform has. Everything she complains about her critics doing, she herself has done - Wu has doxed people. Wu has called employers. Wu has lied openly and gotten caught on countless occasions, and has only effectively endured because her personal ecosystem doesn't really care about her fuck-ups and because her critics are continually screened by Twitter staff.

Elon already announced his intention to fire most, if not all, of Twitter's staff.
Which means all of that protection, inevitably, is going bye-bye at some point.

For now, many of them are still in place, but Wu has to know it's not going to last.
This will inevitably come to a head, and when it does, we will laugh until our lungs are sore.

Precisely. Can't wait for him to fire their current C.E.O., that fucker is a joke, a symbol of everything that is wrong with that platform. When this change comes to pass, it will be hilarious for many reasons, if not just to see the likes of Wu fuck off the second they can't police others on their speech. These guys hate free spech precisely because they know most reasonable people would call them out on their horseshit now that they can't control the narrative!

The best part of all of this, in my view, is how it proves that these people have a very, very fragile grip on their "powers" that basically come from higher ups listening to them. Now that, at least in theory, Twitter is going to be managed by people with integrity and professionalism (or at the very least emotional maturity on how to handle public discourse), they are freaking out because they have basically no resources other than throwing tantrums and begging to be let back in. Sincerely, they are fucked once people realize the "dangerous" shit they are freaking out so much about is basically harmless, and there goes their credibility on a single hit!

It's because you donate through ActBlue who compiles a central list it gives to Democratic campaigns and also because the campaigns all sell the lists. The lists are one of the few assets campaigns actually can produce, nothing else they produce anyone would want so when they go into debt it's all they've got.

During the height of covid I tried to explain tk my grandma that it wasn't nearly as bad as we were told. After 2 years, she finally got it. That it was all for nothing.
