Chris embodies pretty much every element of a lolcow. Autistic, troon, manchild, never worked a day in his life, consoomer, vidya junkie, coomer, the list goes on.
I highly doubt things would have been better unless Chris was born normal of course. He would have still had parents ill equipped to deal with a mentally handicapped child. Plus anyone who has Barb as a mother is definitely not going to be stable individual.
The antiquated concept of "high functioning autism" ruined his life as it gave his parents an excuse to ignore his mental disabilities. It made his parents believe he could function in society through "mainstreaming" without any special education or special counseling as a child. Had Chris had down syndrome instead his parents would not have any possible excuse to stop him from getting the proper form of education as a child and would have resulted in a better life for him.

Funnily enough, there is a common question in the "Internationale Clique", which is: "Who is the Chris-Chan from [Insert country]?" and I have a similar conclusion from your post. It's easier to describe Chris as a mixture of many weirdos than an equal to another weirdo. We have lolcows that are very similar in some aspects to Chris, but never anyone that embraces all characteristics.
Did he still keep his phone and tablet in that carrying case "invention " he made out of Legos?
I think Sonic is appealing also because of how easy it is to draw or really trace which is also the case for MLP but not so much Pokémon.
