I know Nick (and for that matter probably Buck too) don't approve of this shit but giving that pederast any exposure at all is too much.

Eh, depends on the type of website and how manys devs you need. If you only embeed some sort of Google Maps tool and it's mostly an informative site, I agree.

If it's more of a tool to also help out tourists on bookings (hotels, museums, etc.) and maybe even contemplates the use of accounts for say... Marking their Points of Interest or something... Then maybe the 50k are justified.

Also it is not known if Maintenance/Bugfixing and the servers themselves are included so there's also that.

Not like that would make John spend less money on garbage, though.

the ads aren't bad actually, they stay on message and even call out israeli involvement in american politics

I'm guessing john had nothing to do with them beyond paying people to make them, given they focus on things people care about, rather than reeeee gamergate and trannies (probably because these are aimed at based POC who show no love for homo thugs)
