Tommy Edison, a blind man I follow on Youtube has said many times that he hates being treated like hes stupid because hes blind and said he should be equally criticised.

This is what I try to get across to people. People with disabilities would probably appreciate it a lot more if you treated them like a normal person instead of God’s Little Angel.

Twitch does have policies around off platform behaviour. Given they suspended and departnered him (close together mind you) it probably wouldn't take much to have him removed altogether.

Twitch generally doesn't give a fuck unless you're caught red handed with a particularly bad thing. It's about keeping advertisers happy, mostly, so you basically know what you vaguely gotta be: Family friendly, inclusive, polite, an ally to letter soup people, and a good person.

This from the very same site that encourages profane language and outward showings of extreme rage and emotional outbursts, (Tyler1) softcore striptease, (Amouranth) literal pole and/or belly dancing, people tonguefucking microphones... It's only a problem if you're caught in a drug fueled nigger slaughtering rampage. A pretty much literal one. Simultaneously, if they don't like you for whatever reason, they can just kick you off the platform and there's very little you can do about it. In the end, all the decisons are controlled by a board of investors who don't really understand internet culture, games, or even the appeal of thots, and it all comes down to "Does this make me money, and if so, is it worth the trouble?" For Phil to be considered too much of a blight to even have there any more, that says something. I'm pretty sure he could reapply for partnership anyway and get it back.

So yeah, if you're considering an easy way to make money, you could just go on Twitch, claim you or your cat is very sick and you need tons of money, get some bots to get on the frontpage, and ride the scam as far as you can go. Don't think that Twitch will ever put a stop to this sort of thing as they have the enviable position of profitting from scams/Pyramid schemes WITHOUT being liable for them. It's a pretty sweet deal.

I'd like to point out that none of us were right in this poll, he still hasn't done a SmashTheTaxes marathon for 2021. That said, I still believe he will do something, given how constant his tax stuff was:

1. Missing multiple night streams to "crunch the numbers" before giving "all the information" to his "tax guy".
2. Each time, begging the next day about wanting extra tips in order to make up for the missed streams.
3. Leaving the door open to taking more time off, because "my tax guy might ask for more information".
4. After sending all his info to "tax guy", he would be in his chat talking about how he's late to streams because he was busy sending emails.

Seems like a LOT of buildup and foreshadowing, for the writers to not capitalize on this plot arc with some payoff.

I used to be in your position and gave SBM a bit of leeway since he's a blind retard until he showed his true colors. Ever since he got a consulting gig for blindness accessibility for The Last of Us 2 his ego and self-importance grew to DSP levels, with his wife encouraging his entitled behavior.

One of the two most revolting things he's done is throwing a fellow blind man in gaming under the bus because he told some sheboon off. She wanted to be given a free PS5 because she kept calling Sony racist for the sole reason that they didn't give her a free PS5 yet (she succeeded btw). The second is the mother of all spergouts where him and his wife talked shit about Twitch for a week straight because they didn't immediately give him partnership after featuring his stream on the frontpage. The reason Twitch didn't give him partnership after he applied was because he didn't do 1 of the 4 requirements for that month, which is the easiest requirement to fulfill, that is days streamed in a month. He had the follower count for partnership and with the featured stream he had the average viewership per stream requirement knocked right out the park, as well as having enough hours streamed. Literally all he had to do was fire up his stream 5 times, it could've even been just half an hour long or whatever, that's all he had to do. He had a golden opportunity to get that partnership easily. But nah, he had to stomp his feet and cry victim.

Who the fuck is Phil fooling, telling people that he didn't look up guides. We all know he does. Dude gets his ass reemed by Malenia for the first couple of tries. Then by the next stream he just so happens to bring a fire weapon and knows that she has a low resistance to it? Does he really mean for us to believe that under the haze of nightly gin and liquor that he somehow now knows the bosses elemental weakness? He's not fooling anyone, so why even ride this lie out.

So you don't use summons, Phil. And? That doesn't make you a better player, because you're still defaulting to the same boring Jump+R2 strategy, so you didn't learn anything. No one is going to give you props for that, especially since you've proven that you suck at the rest of the game without summons.

The only thing that "came through" is that Phil's Elden Ring playthrough is probably some of the most boring and more drawn out playthrough of the game that I've seen. I actually hope he doesn't do a redemption run of this game because watching him play this game is pain. Not even restreams do it justice, and that says a lot.

He was making the Fextralife Dark Knight build. Granted he did it completely wrong. Which is amazing as he was reading it as he was doing it.

He also said he "read about" how the parry build is op for her, which made it obvious he would suddenly miraculously know how to beat her as he was playing off that he wasn't going to use THE op build and beat her legitimately. Cause you know there's no BB build, BB+Finger Print Shield build, 101 bleed builds, a bunch of posture breaking stun locking builds.

I'm not sure who he's playing this off to, the people who don't know anything about this tiny game elden ring and the little known boss Malenia? People living in a cave for the past 3 months? Time travelers from the past? Newborns?

The funniest part or at least most telling that he's guiding it up, he was using the Blasphemous Blade before. He kept Jump attacking with it. Said it sucked cause, again kept jump attacking with it. Had no idea it did fire damage or that taker's flame was a thing. He STILL doesn't understand ashes or war or weapon skills.

He used it randomly on Mal, he see's it knocked her down. It didn't register that perhaps. I dunno. maybe. hit her more with it? He probably read a guide like he reads twitter news and didn't know what to do so his tism kicked in and he jump attack spammed. Took a break, actually read the guide and beat her.

It's really hard to believe the guy who didn't know what taker's flame was, who complained that he had no ranged attacks while MHing the Moonlight Greatsword, a Sword that has a ranged attack in it's move set, suddenly knew what to do with the blasphemous blade.

On top of it all...who the fuck cares? He's a 40 years old looking for internet clout being nearly 3 month behind in the game beating a boss after over 100 attempts that people are beating nude and untouched.

I'm not going to say he is or isn't using viewbots because that kind of thing is out of my realm of knowledge but I will say this: people using his ego for why he wouldn't viewbot is laughable to me. His whole shtick is that he's a total fucking loser that is trying to craft the image of being successful. Viewbotting makes perfect sense for him. He knows damn well they were mostly gifted to people who didn't care, he even commented that they wouldn't care like Max, doc, Amaoranth, ninja, wings etc.

There's so many examples of him being aware of his lie or delusion then going do far with it he actually believes this lie.

It wouldn't shock me that he botted or at the very least someone set it up for him (nugget of truth, HE didn't bot) to stick it to the trolls showing people support him more than those dirty restreamers then over time convinced himself he didn't actually bot it was a fan or like the subs situtation just completely ignores the reality for his own deluded version. Hell I wouldn't even be surprised if it's something that just autoruns making it easier for him to craft his "I don't bot" story.

I have a theory he reads comments like he reads guides, news stories and twitter. Like a dent headed facebook commenter, if your name isn't someone who frequents any detractor content, isn't banned or doesn't ring a bell he'll skim the comment for asspat words but not read the entire thing.

So you could probably get away with "Phil, you are amazing at this game! Way to go killing mal, I mean it only too 102 tries for you to finally understand what a weapon art was after over 150 levels and a guide told you. Amazing gameplay."

Probably more subtle depending on the gin level.
Or get lucky and have your comment in a flood of comments he's just approving in a gin fueled spaz
