I think this is another one of his “punishing his audience” things in the same vein as the belching and the snorting and the throat-clearing and the bottle crunching and the general shitty attitude. It’s just “you follow me so you must consume this wretched content, don’t forget who your betters are”

I think 9/10 times Phil flexing is related to heavy insecurity and overcompensation. When he put the toy boxes behind him, it was triggered by Keemstar dragging his ass on Twitter, and the impulsive DSP response was to flex his few possessions he has in a desperate attempt to prove he isn't in fact on level one because he has a PS5.

What could the combo of new pfp + changing his Twitter name be provoked by? Superthanks didn't work out the way he anticipated, members dropped under 400, gifted subs got a lot of asterisks to them so it won't be as cheesable as Twitch, gets like an average of 500 views per video unless it's Elden Ring, a game people watch him for his failures and doesn't even bring in enough coin anymore.

Don't forget the best part! If you are a member you can report a membership and "Rewards aren't good enough" is a valid reason to report. Same for when you cancel a membership, if you do it on mobile you get a window asking why you did it and again, "Rewards aren't good enough" is an option. I notice a lot of these fights include one side training and documenting it, before the other invariably pisses themselves and no-shows.

Whoever Phil agrees to fight would have to begin appearing as someone Phil thought he could crush, and then they'd have to shut up about training and conditioning until the day of the match, because even just a recording of his opponent doing cardio kickboxing would doubtless scare Phil into calling it off.
