Isn't Richard Spencer a communist these days who supports Ukraine against Russia.

That fuckface keeps changing his stripes.
I don’t follow that guy for obvious reasons and I hate what he stands for and everything unholy surrounding it but I did know the fucker supports Biden. As for someone like Daryl I respect and view him as holy and disagree with his takes and agree on other takes. I think Tim mentioned this that he is on the same level as Tina mcguinness aka riche McGuiness’s mother I got that podcast here
I've seen other interviews with Darryl in the past and he never seemed to really go into the black bullshit views he did in this interview. Maybe there were other interviews where he was more open about it that I didn't see, but I'm guessing he just let some stuff slip this time he normally doesn't.
he got hot headed and bullish but at least he didnt throw a tantrum like RA that’s a plus.

yeah I never saw too much of his stuff but I recall seeing one from like 2015ish where he debated a couple of BLM people and he seemed to be on a completely different side from them. I also saw him on Rogan back in 2020 but most of that was just him talking about his KKK days. Regardless he never came off like he did tonight in those cases.

I remember some questionable remarks made by him during the Joe Rogan podcast and did say some TDS stuff as well.

But Daryl has probably not been pushed back like Tim did to some extent, which gave us even more stuff from Daryl.

Whereas Rogan just let it slide and moved on as well as keeping things light as Joe's method is to let the guests tell their stories and let the listeners decide.

Think so. its been years since I saw it.

Thats a good point. When someone gets pushback it forces them to go deeper into their thoughts and beliefs.

Likewise and he did do an interview with Subverse back when it was called that and it was mostly him disagreeing with AntiFa and how they didn't have a plan besides being violent in Charlottesville which he didn't agree with.

I watched the Rogan interviews but don't remember them. He also dropped a bit of TDS today when he said there's a former president who thinks he's still in power as some major issue, which sounds rather crazy as Trump isn't doing anything particularly different than any other politician.

its another form of self radicalzation and it happens all the time on many different ends of the political spectrum and it’s happening with the left they started to believe their own nonsense and got more extreme as time went on.

but it was those same people who labeled him as white supremacist

$6739.00 in super chats tonight according to playboard. (highest in 90 days)

Strategic move having Darryl on tonight. SPLC hates Darryl too.
It was a good show, and Tim did better than most nights in terms of how he behaved. Still has a long way to go to really reach the levels of someone like Ben Shapiro but I think having Ottman on more often would be good as he seems to be a decent mediator.

One funny thing is at the start when Ian mentions some guy invented Rock and Darryl was there for it, Darryl says no, he played with the guy but that was well after Rock was invented by the guy and his original group. I'm guessing that probably stung with Ian as Bill Ottman made Minds and Ian joined it later as a moderator but claims to be an inventor of Minds because he was there early.

I am too tired to link or mark points in the show, but there are a few times Tim actually seems genuinely sad by some of the things Darryl said to him, Tim's demeanor changed, Tim seemed more subdued. Tim held back out of some sort of respect for Darryl. Tim could have gone in for a kill so to speak, Like when the dude from Gettr was on, but I think Tim sensed Darryl was actually getting mad and Tim wanted to avoid another RA type of incident. Judging by comments section Darryl pissed off the viewers almost as bad as rocco & emily did that time they were on his show before they tried to steal scnr from Tim.

It must suck having someone you think is a representative of the idea of unity and overcoming past bullshit, and then when you ask him how pays for the acts of the past, do people pay for the sins of the father and the guy just says "taxes or Fort Knox!?" then he calls you a racist.

I also think Tim for once was a bit genuine as he thinks he's fighting racism and that if he's just a good person on that regard, people will like him, and all of a sudden this guy who is known for reason is being completely unreasonable. Darryl has such a fucking bullshit stance on reparations that he pierced the beanie shield, and I'm watching Nick recap it now and holy shit Darryl is retarded on his views on this topic.

I think the education thing is a disingenuous bullshit argument, these days access to the Internet is easy, even if you have to go to a public location like a library, and you have access to more knowledge than anyone ever had before.

Edit: And I'm a white immigrant, I had the talk about police growing up in the USA. Especially since someone from the immigrant community I was part of got shot by a cop when they were reaching for their ID. We weren't even in a bad area, not great but it was ok.

Okay this genuinely makes me Mad at the Internet. This would be primo Tim content, the kind of stuff I originally subbed for. Tim is completely in the right, his points are all good, and he is attacking a legitimate threat to freedom of speech that has been endorsed by the very press that only exists due to free speech. In the same vein that left wing activists are now getting banned off Patreon after cheering it happening to right wing people, the press cheering for censorship on social media due to "misinformation" is going to lead to their own ability to report the news eventually being censored and they are too short-sighted to see it. This is a good use of Tim's time and influence.

And he completely ruins it because the whole video he is making stupid voices to represent the opinions of people he disagrees with. Who likes this? Who decided this was entertaining to change your voice like a goddamn seven year old? Kyle Kulinski does this, Cenk Ugyur does this, it is not funny, it is cringe.

Comments of the Daryl Timcast are basically all people disappointed/bewildered by how Daryl made himself out to be.

I feel similar and have lost whatever respect I had for him.

I feel like Daryl hasn't actually left the US much if he thinks its the most racist country on the planet. Have fun being a non-native person in pretty much any African or Asian country.

truthfully i haven't lost respect for his early work. Even if his views have always been like this the work he's done de-radicalizing is something I feel deserves respect.
