The thing is I don't think they do. If they really believed that a single fertilized ovum was equivalent to a child and that millions were being murdered by birth control, they'd be bombing CVSes. Saying a single cell is the moral equivalent of an adult human is lunacy on such a level I honestly can't even understand it.

But more importantly, even people actually fully opposed to things like birth control (which prevents an already fertilized ovum from implanting into the placenta) don't treat it as if it's actual murder.

Once you have something that could be born and survive just fine, it's hard to say at that point you have something that is either fully a human life or so close to it as to be deserving of moral consideration.

Even at that point, though, there are things like a placental abruption. Basically the placenta fails massively and it's an immediate medical emergency. Usually they can save both the mother and infant. Sometimes, though, the only choice is to pick one, and that's going to be the mother. Under the laws currently being proposed, whoever saved her life would be subject to criminal prosecution so they'd have to just sit and watch her die while doing nothing of use.

It used to be the majority opinion, of the public and even the Supreme Court, that this was okay, and Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., one of the most well regarded of jurists to this day, specifically. As he famously stated in Buck v. Bell, upholding the sterilization of a retard (although today there is actually some question as to the veracity of the actual diagnosis): "Three generations of imbeciles are enough."

You can really blame Hitler for giving the whole thing a bad name. Too bad because there are definitely people who shouldn't be fucking reproducing. I guess I'll just have to cope, because I suppose having these goddamn retards around is better than having the kind of tyrannical government you'd need to do anything about them.
You're overgeneralizing.

Not everyone opposed to abortion agrees as to what point the equivalence starts. There's a trendline for more religious correlation with earlier in development, but that's not absolute.

The point of convergence (where virtually everyone there would agree with the fetus being equivalent) is the point of viability (though even that's a bit loosey goosey as viability is kind of hard to define).

The birth control abolishers are a fringe, even among religious groups. They can be fairly vocal, and do hold some political power, but not enough to really survive politically in all but maybe one state (and even that's iffy).

But Null's point is pretty spot on, though a generalization it's not really an over-generalization because that is the belief held by all anti-abortion folks at a fundamental level.

They all agree that abortion in general is an unjust taking of life, with some disagreements over the edge cases like placental abruption, deformities, etc...

Why all the autism over a leak? Justices change their minds all the time and it isnt in effect. People acting retarded for nothing.
It's a big landmark decision and due to the leak a tremendous amount of people are trying to intimidate the justices since they didn't have the benefit of reading the ruling before the insanity started.

Now people think they can take out a supreme court justice "for the right side of history" since it isn't locked in yet.

It's horrifying.

I just dont see the point in getting angry over a what if. Is there any proof the Justices are going though with this?

Tim Pool sucks lol at talking about racial issues lol.

Just give Daryl Davis the superchats or read the big tipper ones.
Tim doesn't read all his superchats like he used to. Him and Lydia filter through them during the show and cherry pick the ones they want, which usually means ignoring tough questions and talking about "Oh wow my kids loved your chicken live stream" self advertisement. I don't know exactly when this started but I noticed it mostly around the time Jack Murphy was getting exposed. Probably had to do with more than half his chat spamming cuck memes for months.

As much as everyone likes to see these leftists screech, but every year 600k black babies are born in the United States 72% of them with out a stable family/father.

Almost 50% of niglets get scraped out of the sow so if we prevent that then we will double the crime rate with in 12 years.
Just keep them in Chicago, New York, California and Washington state

The whole nigger argument is fucking retarded. One: the ends don’t justify the means. Two: the blue states where the big cities with high minority populations are going to keep abortion legal anyway. Three: there are hardly any abortion clinics in red states that are going to outlaw abortion.

Just admit you’re pro-choice and be done with it.

As long as only it's in the nigger locations as Margaret Sanger intended.

I got no horse in this game, abortion or unplanned pregnancy simply doesn't exist in my socioeconomic slice of life at least for my family and kin.

I'm also not religious and I don't care about other people's babies but I really do hate niggers and anything that slows their unfortunately inevitable rise to the majority alongside our Latinx brothers and sisters is something I'll get behind.

@George Lucas hit the nail on the head. All this overturn is doing is making abortion a state issue. Blue hellholes are still going to let sluts icepick their babies a day before they are due. Most sheboons are in said blue hellholes and will continue to abort at the same rate, and at worst just got a state over to get their niglet scraped out.

As an unironic birth control abolisher, this is correct. The best we really hope for is pushing our own religious denominations to admit that they were mistaken to treat marriage and family as something that would "just happen" on their own.

Just quarter them in the homes of those who voted for this bullshit.

What about red hellholes like Mississippi that have enormous populations of such? They're exactly the places where these laws will be passed. Enjoy your super predators, MS, AL, etc.

As a Catholic who doesn't believe in using artificial birth control: if Mormons can't make Utah an entirely dry state, then condoms and birth control pills aren't going anywhere.

Just because I think something is immoral doesn't necessarily mean I think you should be arrested for doing it. If you commit sin by yourself, that's a problem between you and God. But if your actions infringe on the rights of other people, that is when you need to be legally held accountable.

When you say something like this, I wonder what you mean, because the specific reference to "artificial birth control" implies you are okay with something like the rhythm method where you avoid sex when the female isn't ovulating. That's always struck me as such a weird, Jewy technicality. So it's not okay to wreck an egg, but you can totally cock-block the shit out of it.

One of the most shocking things I've seen (I know, been on the internet long enough I shouldn't experience shock anymore), has to be the contempt of adoption amongst the leftists. They really are pro-abortion over pro-choice. Everything has become so polarizing adoption is now seen as a right-wing thing, like free speech and ivermectin.

The usual danger hairs are out in full force screeching how the lives of all adopted people are so worthless that they would be better off dead. Maybe we should just round up all adoptees and gas them out of our great sense of compassion and mercy.

While it's true pain is a part of all life, I've known plenty of adopted people and people who came from shot-gun marriage homes. While they have had their difficulties, some even having depression, that's part of every life, but I can't think of any of them who would be signing up for the suicide booth any day now. The person I'd worry about most for that was a normal, planned child who lives in a country that's going to medically sign off on suicide soon and she's had some irritating chronic issues. The only way to avoid suffering would be anti-natalism, and the best way for that would be for those who so strongly fear life to sterilize themselves. I wouldn't recommend it, I think these people need religion or hallucinogenics to help them gain some peace with universe.

Not that there's anything wrong with the choice to never breed, but the motive is kind of a sign of too much time spent dwelling in negativity.

Limiting the number of kids you have isn't necessarily a bad thing in Church teaching (and they even say you shouldn't have an unsustainable number). They just say doing so artificially is an immoral way to do it, as it disrupts anf puts limits on the self-giving love between husband and wife.

Think of it this way: Natural family planning is like losing weight with proper diet and exercise, artificial birth control is like losing weight via binging and purging.

It reminds me of Sam Kinison's bit on how condoms are self-contradictions: "if you don't trust her, then why are you fucking her?"
