It's called "narcissistic injury." One of the symptoms of narcissism is treating everyone else like an extension of yourself, and becoming EXTREMELY angry when they don't act as such.
Your refusal to play along with their fetish is seen as an existential threat to them.
That said, Troons have done absolutely no good for society, and trying to accommodate them has done nothing but drag everyone else down. I'm absolutely down for removing them from society, but that mostly means I think they should be institutionalized if they cannot be made to understand that they can never, EVER be a member of the opposite sex, or some weird alien hermaphrodite with a barbie doll crotch, and that LARPing as such is retarded and makes them worthy of scorn and mockery.

This study (besides being made on a sample of 51 women, so lol sample size), is also transparently trying to find a certain result. If you define autogynephilia incorrectly, leaving out the transformation aspect and adding in the idea of visualizing a sexual encounter, then 93% of women report getting horny while picturing sex in their own bodies! If you were to ask men if they would get horny picturing themselves in a sexual encounter, you would also find that the vast majority would say yes. It's disingenuous as fuck and speaks to the shoddy scholarship and deliberate faulty study designs pro-troon researchers depend on to reach their conclusions.
