This popped up in my recommendations. Since they are on a week break I will try to make some more informative posts for folks peeping in.
I think this dude explained it pretty well.

I do not blame Riekieta for not having more clips, it's a very dense trial. Bless the algorithm in this case.
Also apparently this bish is the human rights ambassador?

People might want to scour some tweets. I hope this person is trollin'

The extreme exaggerations of her wild accusations makes me really believe the borderline personality disorder.

I’ve worked with individuals with BPD who made similar wild accusations with a mixed of MST.

They are exhausting, and sanctimonious all rolled up into a truly draining season.
Tbh I think her legal team itself kinda lends credit to the BPD allegations. It doesn't really seem like they had their narrative together coming into the case, which I'd wager was a result of them not being able to get a straight story from her.

But she's going to win on the merits, or she'll lose because of public opinion
She claimed he beat her so badly a normal human would spend about a week in the hospital, then the next day she was on TV without visible injury, and the cosmetician who made her up for the show saw no injury either. If the jury's paying attention, they clearly see her lying on the stand, that means she has no credibility.

In a case of he said she said, why would they find for the person plainly lying on the stand? I mean they may be total metoo cucks but on the merits? Nah.

Amber on the stand is behaving exactly the way the doctor who diagnosed her with BPD and HPD said she would, like exactly. If for some reason anyone doubted the testimony the proof is right fucking there
I thought this part of Dr Curry's testimony was amazing. It seems that Heard's lawyer is hard of hearing, because she totally missed the part where the doc said that it's more prevalent for abusive women to falsely blame men of DV than the other way round and just carried on describing everything that Depp is saying that he's experienced since being accused.
I mean, it is Depp's money that's paying for Heard's lawyers in a roundabout way, so it's only fair that they put in the work for him, right? :story:

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (55:06)

It's common for the perpetrator to essentially gaslight the victim, isn't it?

Dr Curry, Part 2 (55:18)

That's a characteristic of psychological abuse, yes.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (55:21)

Okay. And it's common then for them to accuse them with being the perpetrator, the victim.

Dr Curry, Part 2 (55:27)

That's a characteristic of abuse from women perpetrated against men. It's actually very common. About 90% of male victims of IPV have reported that a female partner who abuses them makes threats to report their partner as an abuser. It's less common for men to make that statement to female partners just because there's less potential consequence.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:02)

Okay. And it's distressing for the victim to be accused, is it not?

Dr Curry, Part 2 (56:07)

Absolutely.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:08)

It causes them a lot of fear, certainly. And it causes them a lot of distress?

Dr Curry, Part 2 (56:15)

Absolutely, yes.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:16)

And in fact, they feel falsely accused, correct?

Dr. Curry (56:21)

Yes.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:21)

And they feel paranoid.

Dr Curry, Part 2 (56:23)

Yes.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:23)

And they feel frightened.

Dr. Curry (56:25)

Yes.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:26)

Afraid that everyone's going to believe the perpetrator, correct?

Dr. Curry (56:29)

Yes.

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:30)

And in fact, they're afraid they're going to lose their security. Correct.

Dr Curry, Part 2 (56:34)

Can you clarify what you mean by security?

AH’s Attorney, Bredehoft, Part 2 (56:36)

I'll ask the next one and they're afraid they're going to lose their reputation, correct?

Dr Curry, Part 2

Yes.

Here's a link to download all the exhibits that have been entered by Depp and Heard (so far, obvs hers is still in progress)

Also, YouTube Incredibly Average has a load of transcribed calls and audio that I'm working my way through, one from the finger in Oz incident where Heard is admitting that she was the one who smashed shit up, didn't mean to hurt Depp etc, but it can't be used in evidence because the security guy she was talking to is dead, and another one where she's saying that she's going to put makeup on and take pictures to correspond with certain incidents but I haven't seen these yet, only seen them referred to in another video. (EDIT- this is from a phonecall between AH and JD where she's saying 'as if they're going to believe that I'm either in a secret fight club, or that I've planned this for years and collected evidence and faked photos to correspond with incidents and texts. That's some Bond villain shit, coz that's exactly what she did lol Same clip where she said 'tell them I, Johnny Depp, a man, am a victim of DV and see if the judge and jury believe you'. Proper twisted bitch)

I'm surprised that there's only this short thread about it tbh, I thought the kiwi detectives would be all over it.

It almost seems as thought they (if it’s the same legal team from the UK case) came in thinking they would win again.

Where as JD legal team took the lessons learned in the UK trial and retooled their US case.

Fun thing about Virginia. Virginia Common law has precedent going back to when we were part of the United Kingdom. Virginia's Defamation Civil action, though updated for the modern era still draws its statutory roots from old England.

Part of the build up to this trial was the analysis of the case in the UK. It's the formal position of Virginia's court that the case in England was neither fair, impartial, nor in keeping with the standards of common law. The transcripts from the trial are allowed into evidence for questioning purposes, but the findings of the UK court were thrown out and Amber Heards lawyers are directly barred from entering into evidence anything the UK trial judge determined.

Is there a chance that if the Jury goes in favor of JD, that Joe Biden decides to pardon Amber, to own the "dirty whites", and as "a way" support women's abortion rights and Ukraine, for some reason? Do Presidential pardons even work that way?
that's literally retarded, the president cannot pardon civil state litigation.
i don't even think civil litigation can be pardoned at all.

I'm personally of the assumption that Johnny Depp's biggest mistake was leaving Vanessa Paradis. He and Vanessa were such a cool looking couple, and though it may be a pure coincidence, it seemed as though both his life and his career were never better than when he was with Paradis; with whom he appeared to enjoy a relatively low-key private life outside of the trappings of Hollywood.

As soon as he left Paradis for Heard, everything seemed to go south for Depp, and although I do think he shares some of the blame for his current predicament, I still want to see him vindicated at the end of all this. It's pretty clear based upon the audio recordings which of the two were the initiators of the abuse in the relationship, and the melodramatic emotional appeals to the jury throughout her testimony were pretty transparent.

The best part of the trial so far for me though, was witnessing them play this audio recording:
Nothing more needed to be said.

I have to agree that his biggest mistake was leaving Vanessa. I think it was a mid life crisis and he saw this hot young thing and did his thing. He forgot the cardinal law, never marry crazy. Never give crazy a baby is the chief cardinal law, but this shit is close. What really sucks about this is that I think Johnny, despite is substance issues, is a good man. That's backed by tons of evidence. I remember when he married her I was thinking, dude, what the fuck. You've just stepped in it. It's crazy how folks outside of a situation, even removed as far as anyone can really be, can see that this bitch is crazy and you're stepping your mid life crisis right in the middle of crazy.

He was allegedly sober for a decade before he met her. That should speak to something. She taunted him and literally laid out what she was about to do to him on their last recorded phone call. If he loses this, then absolutely fuck the system. Even so, she's toast from now on. She thought it was cute to let loose unsubstantiated bullshit that hurt his career? Guess what, sis? That can work both ways. No one wants to be around someone that thinks it's cute, funny, or a "joke", to shit the bed...literally.

I'm on mobile so I can't see the dislikes, and because I consider Illuminaughtii somewhat of a lolcow, can you give me the TL;DR of her take? I've seen too many leftist feminist "spill the tea, sis!" types defend Amber Heard, so I'd be shocked of Blair is siding with Depp.
She just did a breakdown on what’s going on pre trial

Going back and watching Johnny Depp testify actually makes me like him a little. He seems pretty chill and reasonable, hope he wins this thing. Even if he is a weirdo.
