Largely out of laziness. He knows he can just play another game to pad the time, yet intentionally doesn't because that would be effort. A "q&a" is easy for him to just sit there and talk about what he wants since he can cherry pick questions to answer.
There's also the element that he tends to do them more often when he isn't making tips on a game and can use it as a "punishment" for not giving him money the specific way he wants. Every game he's given up on recently he had ample time to just start up a game and fuck around for a bit till the end of the stream but instead decides to continue revealing how cut off from the world he is because he knows that he won't called out for it on his stream.
